Fuel temperature coefficient of reactivity edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Fuel temperature coefficient of reactivity, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.nukeworker.com/forum/index.php?topic=6689.0. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Image copyright problem with Image:Moyse 0525ter.jpg edit

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Moyse 0525ter.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 11:51, 29 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Unspecified source for Image:Moyse_0525ter1.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Moyse_0525ter1.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 13:58, 29 March 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MECUtalk 13:58, 29 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please don't spell-check talk pages edit

Please don't spell-check talk pages. Other peoples postings to the talk page of an article, assuming it is relevant, should never be modified. Firstly, they serve as an archive of what that person actually said, which is useful if there is a disagreement, and secondly, when you spell check an article, other editors must waste time examining what you did to verify that it was appropriate or not. Thanks. PAR (talk) 19:19, 29 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

BCS Theory article too technical edit

It's funny, but I have the opposite impression: in the article there is no reference to important things as the BCS hamiltonian or the ground state, and nobody provided any proof of the statements you can find there, so it is not very useful for somebody who is studying it. After all, the BCS theory is tough even for people who specialize in it! (as Tinkham says in his famous book).

Anyway maybe I can help. Just tell me what kind of context do you think it needs. Eynar Oxartum (talk) 12:44, 31 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Empty see also and external links sections edit

Please do not create empty see also and external links sections. These sections should be created the first time such a link is added. They should not be present if they have no content.--Srleffler (talk) 17:07, 6 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with Image:Flute range.png edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Flute range.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Biot Fourier.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Biot Fourier.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Nucleate boiling edit

This has to do more with Wikipedia house cleaning. I liked your edits recently...

But since the Nucleate boiling article already covers Departure from nucleate boiling, and you created an article called Transition boiling with information about it, I merged your edits with the former article. I don't think the 2 terms need separate pages, since Nucleate boiling is still quite small as it is. So for now, Transition boiling is a redirect to your edits.

I would assume as a chemical engineer that you would have realized that DNB is the same thing as Transition boiling, but that didn't appear to happen. In WP, we try to combine some synonyms where possible rather than having disparate articles on the same subject. I like to saw logs! (talk) 05:06, 26 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Re: math... I am not an expert on writing them from scratch, either. Try WP:MATH and Wikipedia:Mathematical symbols for some ideas on how to edit formulae. I also like to look at other formulae already written. For example, I helped write a few at Bernoulli's principle, which should be quite a familiar topic for you. See some of the derivations.
Re: edits to nucleate boiling: If I were you, I would keep doing what you are doing and edit nucleate boiling, including the section on DNB a.k.a. transition boiling. I stated why previously, as I feel the terms are inseparable. I like to saw logs! (talk) 05:39, 27 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
Re: Wikipedia idiosyncrasies: As you edit, think hard to see if a term you use is a common enough word/term that has already been written about in this huge encyclopedia. For example, if you say "heat transfer coefficient," or "enthalpy" then wikilink it. Also, pretend that you mean either one of those terms but you use a synonym... wikilink the term that is the most common. By doing this, you can avoid duplication of efforts and lessen the confusion when optional nomenclature exists.. I like to saw logs! (talk) 05:53, 27 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of High radiation area edit

The article High radiation area has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This is just a definition, and not a universal one at that. There is no way to write a full article about this topic.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
