editThank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to The Untouchables (film) does not have an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! Question about external links for movies
editThis help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. |
Is there a list for all supported pre-defined templates to show external links for movies? For example, the followings are supported:
- 4 Devils at IMDb
- Four Devils at AllMovie
--Vbvan (talk) 05:13, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
- Try this. I can't vouch for its completeness though. Danger! High voltage! 06:03, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
Question about how to report duplicated pages
editThis help request has been answered. If you need more help or have additional questions, please replace the code {{Help me-helped}} on this page with {{Help me}}, post a new help me template, or contact the responding user(s) directly on their own user talk page. |
I'd like to report two pages which refer to the same movie.
For example,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Back_Stage_%281919_film%29
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Back_Stage_%281919_movie%29
--Vbvan (talk) 06:46, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
- This is as good a way to report it as any, if you don't want to fix it yourself. As the "1919 film" article is evidently the fuller one, and (checking at WP:WikiProject Film, which leads me to Wikipedia:Naming conventions (films)) "(film)" is the preferred "disambiguator" for articles about films, I have turned the "movie" one into a WP:REDIRECT to the "film" one. That means the previous version is still there in the history, but anyone clicking on the title gets taken to the better article. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 07:57, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for October 18
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sachché Ká Bol-Bálá, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Swapna (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Katie: Portrait of a Centerfold
editThe older page had a misspelling in the title (Katie: Portrait of a Centrefold) while the new page is under the correct spelling (Katie: Portrait of a Centerfold) so all the cast and crews' pages are linked to it. I do not know how to merge the pages and right now I'm not up to going thru the deletion process for the former page. Just though this would be a helpful explanation. Shipofcool (talk) 23:47, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
- I merge the content from 'Katie:_Portrait_of_a_Centrefold' into 'Katie:_Portrait_of_a_Centerfold' (one extra cast) and redirect the former to the latter.Vbvan (talk) 02:32, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
The film's name is not "Big Bad Wolf". It is "Big Bad Wolves". The article Big Bad Wolf (2013 film) should be deleted completly. Zaevet (talk) 15:10, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
