Why did you request a deletion proposal for the article Sergio Ortega Leguias? edit

I didn't put any content that violates the site's guidelines, nor used any information images copied from other websites, besides most Panamanian footballers in the national football team don't even have their articles in Wikipedia.

Hi, the article was tagged with 'Proposed Delete' (or PROD) which means, if the problem is not fixed, it will be deleted in 7 days. It is standard Wikipedia policy to PROD all new unsourced biographies to encourage authors to reference material as well as removing potentially false material. Therefore it had nothing to do with article subject or quality at all. The reason I tagged it was that I assume you know how to find related references better than myself.Vasemmistolainen (talk) 04:13, 28 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

December 2017 edit

Hello Vasemmistolainen. Thanks for patrolling new pages – it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know, however, that there is consensus that we shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (CSD A1) and/or content (CSD A3) moments after they are created, as you did at Bachelor of Malaysia. It's usually best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course still be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 09:19, 18 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion declined: Stanford G. Haughton edit

Hello Vasemmistolainen, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Stanford G. Haughton, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: knighthood is a claim of significance and so is declining it when offered. If you are interested in learning more about how speedy deletion works, I have compiled a list of helpful pages at User:SoWhy/SDA. You can of course also contact me if you have questions. Thank you. Speedy deletion declined: Freya Gregory edit

Hello Vasemmistolainen, and thanks for patrolling new pages! Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Tanzanian drama television series edit

A tag has been placed on Category:Tanzanian drama television series indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. Liz Read!
