Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Éric Abidal, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. Categories must also be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you.

I also recommend you read WP:BLPCAT regarding the addition of religious categories to articles about living people. 2 lines of K303 11:15, 23 December 2011 (UTC)

Hi. When you recently edited 2012 Gulf Club Champions Cup, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Arab Gulf (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

If you have a reason thats fine, and its in your right, but kidnly mention it so we can then discuss it.(Lihaas (talk) 23:18, 21 January 2012 (UTC)).
You did it again WITHOUT REASON. and that after being told. [1][2] that is not constructive...my reason was duly given.(Lihaas (talk) 20:00, 22 January 2012 (UTC)).
your edit is quite clearly VANDALISM because this is the THIRD time youve been told to explain your edit! or even discuss it!

Hello. Where are you getting the online results of the 2012 South American U-20 Women Championship. I don't know Spanish, so perhaps that's why I can't find anything on the CONMEBOL website.--MorrisIV (talk) 17:06, 23 January 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to 2012 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament does not have an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! The removal of a referenced statement should have an explanation. Walter Görlitz (talk) 17:11, 29 January 2012 (UTC)

The Persian Gulf

Hi, Uishaki; I notice you have been going around Wikipedia, changing the name of the Persian Gulf, citing that it is "not the correct name". You may wish to study on the history of the naming of this gulf; there is also a good concise section in Wikipedia at Persian Gulf naming dispute which you may want to have a look at. Please note that internationally-recognized geographic names are not something to be tampered with based on individal taste and, as such, any editing of this kind may be construed as vandalism which is not tolerable for an academic environment such as Wikipedia. We are all here to improve on our and everybody else's knowledge. Let's not deviate from that path. I trust this is agreeable. Thanks, Kamran the Great (talk) 21:23, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

Uishaki; your references are not internationally-recognized ones. Please do read the Persian Gulf naming dispute citing UN directives on correct usage. I notice you have carried on vandalizing pages with refernce to the Persian Gulf. Please stop disruptive changes. I will undo your edits, hoping that we have an understanding; otherwise i will have to refer your edits to moderators, which may lead to suspension of your account. Thank you, Kamran the Great (talk) 08:12, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is "Persian Gulf - name vandalizing". Thank you. --Kamran the Great (talk) 08:31, 5 March 2012 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Naming conventions (geographic names) says that we prefer common English names for geographical features. In this case the preference in English sources (and most other languages) is "Persian Gulf" and there is no competition. You can look at lots of old maps here and here and you will only find a few exceptions. Your personal opinion on what the name should be doesn't count, sorry. Zerotalk 13:05, 5 March 2012 (UTC)

Let me also agree with what Zero and Kamran the Great have said. The most common name in English-language sources is "Persian Gulf", so that is what we should use in Wikipedia. As well as the naming conventions that Zero linked to above, you might want to have a look at WP:COMMONNAME and WP:EN for some other perspectives. I recommend not reverting any further - if you change "Persian Gulf" back to "Arabian Gulf" much more, a trip to the administrators' noticeboard for incidents might become necessary, and there is a chance that you may be blocked. I don't want things to come to that, so I hope that you can recognize that the guidelines are very clear in this case. Let me know if you have any questions. Phil Younghusband

The game of the Philippines against Hong Kong (and therefor also the two goals by Younghusband in the game) is recognised by FIFA as a full international tie. See also the website of FIFA (click "previous" a number of times). It is in the list of ties of the Azcals in the year 2010. Magalhães (talk) 16:06, 13 March 2012 (UTC)

Fabrice Muamba

Hello, I would like to point out at that nationality is not decided merely by what nationality your parents were; to believe this would to me to constitute a narrow conception of nationality. The fact is that the player's nationality is ambiguous and, going by WP:FOOTY consensus, it would be best to not mention a nationality in the opening sentence of this player's lead. To not take into account that the player was raised in England and that he has amassed in excess of 50 caps for England at youth international level would be neglegent. Besides, to says he is Congolese would require verification by a WP:RS, although I can't see there being any available since this isn't the case. Ali El-Khatib

Three of your edits at Ali El-Khatib were just reverted as possible vandalism. You changed "Israel" to "Palestine" and "Arab-Israeli" to "Palestinian," contrary to what the AFP source on the page says. Be more careful with your edits at that article in the future, and note the addition of Template:ARBPIA to the article's Discussion page, which you should read before editing there again.—Biosketch (talk) 08:56, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

Since you've ignored my message and are continuing to corrupt the Ali El-Khatib article, I've requested Arbitration Enforcement here. Please read what I've written and try to explain your behavior there.—Biosketch (talk) 13:05, 4 April 2012 (UTC)

SOLA2012

article is absolutely true But in the end of the page there are groups There are two categories not have any relationship with the subject, I've mentioned in the first category , although the Arabs of Israel is an Israeli player In the second category mentioned players Palestine But we know that Israel is a country, and Palestine is not another city in Israel and should not be the existence of these two categories on the page and the article includes an Israeli player, not a Palestinian. --sola$$$$$$$$ (talk) 16:43, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

Palestine-Israel Conflict Articles

The Arbitration Committee has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions (information on which is at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions) on any editor who is active on pages broadly related to the Arab-Israeli conflict. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you continue with the behavior on Ali_El-Khatib, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The Committee's full decision can be read in the Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Palestine-Israel articles#Final decision section of the decision page.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions, with the appropriate sections of Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Procedures, and with the case decision page. Please utilize sources in making your changes. Help with women's national team articles

Hi. I'm working on some women's national team articles on my user space with the intention of taking as many of them as possible to DYK. (Hence the drafting on my user space.) If you have the time, could you help edit the articles listed below? I'd be happy to give you DYK credit for any articles you help improve. :) --LauraHale (talk) 20:21, 14 April 2012 (UTC)

Template:2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers

Here, you undid the addition of Brazil as a World Cup qualifier, just saying "no". I'm going to need a better reason than that why a team that is qualified for the World Cup shouldn't be listed in a template titled "qualifiers" pbp 04:13, 28 May 2012 (UTC)

In the future...

... if you nominate an article for deletion like Saudi Arabia women's national football team, you need to notify the major contributor of the article that you have done so. You also need to properly transclude the article so it appears on the list. As the major contributor, the only reason I was aware of it was because I am actively monitoring it. As it required more sources to help it survive WP:AFD, I will probably continue to fix it up and take it to WP:GAN. Cheers! --LauraHale (talk) 22:10, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

2013 CAN

Can I ask why you undid my edit? It is more easy to edit the standings with the template. --Stigni (talk) 17:58, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

We don't have to put a template in every page but the standings is always the same so why don't use the template? It also help to insert the data, for every match you have to update only three (w/d/l, gf, ga) instead of update 6 (points, gp, w/d/l, gf, ga, gd) and so we reduce the probability of one error. --Stigni (talk) 18:26, 13 October 2012 (UTC)
As I already said they are not POINTLESS. That kind of template reduce space, time to update and risk of error so they have a point. Stigni (talk) 13:49, 28 October 2012 (UTC)
