Speedy deletion nomination of Olubunmi Kuku edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Olubunmi Kuku, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Question for administrator edit

I want help to undelete a page that was wrongfully deleted

--Tygeera (talk) 14:24, 26 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello, @Tygeera:, I am not an administrator, but I believe I can help direct you. The information you are looking for is at this page. I don't know what page you think was wrongfully deleted so the following will be generalized. It is admittedly confusing but how the page was deleted matters in requesting restoration of a page. If you go the the page in question, there will be a pink box at the top with a message that starts: "This page has been deleted." There will be a log entry below that that mentions one of three things: Speedy deletion (usually shown as "CSD"), Proposed deletion (usually shown as "PROD"), or Articles for deletion (usually shown as a link to the discussion). If the article was deleted through the first two methods, then follow the instructions at the top of the Requests for undeletion page. If the article was deleted through a deletion discussion, you need to instead follow the instructions at Deletion review. I hope this helps.
You can request undeletion at WP:REFUND. However I viewed the article you want undeleted and it was a CV of someone which is against WP policies. WP is an encyclopedia not a place to publish a CV or promote someone. You might want to read WP:YFA Gbawden (talk) 06:25, 27 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

July 2017 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Olubunmi Kuku, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. Article userfied edit

Hi. I have restored the article to User:Tygeera/Olubunmi kuku. I made a few notes about what you need to address - see User talk:Tygeera/Olubunmi kuku. Stephen! Coming... 11:34, 28 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

I have moved the article back to the above area, as there were still issues with it. You had not done anywhere near enough to establish notability - it was still a candidate for speedy deletion under WP:CSD#A7. There was a single reference which did not establish notability, and nothing else stated in the article demonstrates that she is notable. Again, I urge you to read WP:BIO and see if you can find any criteria there that Bunmi Kuku meets. Stephen! Coming... 16:41, 28 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Suggestions for improving Godknows Igali edit

Hi. I noticed that you created Godknows Igali article with no references. Some of my suggestions: 1) Please add references (proof-links) supporting the information given in the article using cite web template. 2) Use Infobox person template to improve the lead section of the article. Fill all the parameters there 3) Improve categories. I've added some, but probably a lot more could be added. Good luck with your edits! -- Bbarmadillo (talk) 14:09, 13 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please add sources asap - it's likely to be tagged for deletion today. Boleyn (talk) 19:02, 13 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Godknows Igali edit

Hello, Tygeera. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Godknows Igali, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Godknows Igali to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks,

March 2021 edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Feminist Coalition. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Please quit vandalizing the article and if you have a COI with that article do not edit it any further. Celestina007 (talk) 13:03, 26 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Suggestion about edits in Feminist Coalition edit

Hey Tygeera, I’ve noted some of the edits you’ve made to Feminist Coalition which were reverted and you have since added back. I suggest you have a discussion with the other editor on their talk page or on the articles talk page to avoid getting blocked for edit warring. You can involve other editors if you’re unable to reach a consensus. Kind regards. The Sokks💕 (talk) 12:45, 26 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Stop edit

Please cease and desist from vandalizing the Feminist Coalition article, any further vandalism from you would mean you are looking to be blocked entirely from editing per WP:NOTHERE. You are free to discuss how you want the article to be worded in a constructive and collaborative manner what you may not do is act as a fiduciary for the organization and attempt to censor the information or control the narrative. Furthermore if you continue casting aspersions you would invariably get indef blocked. Celestina007 (talk) 13:13, 26 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Studio photo of bello elrufai.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Studio photo of bello elrufai.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://twitter.com/nairaland/status/1683493657461006337/photo/1. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Ирука13 06:19, 19 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
