Hi, Truthinirishpolitics. This is NOT some automated message...it's from a real person. You can talk to me right now. Welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed you've just joined, and wanted to give you a few tips to get you started. If you have any questions, please talk to us. The tips below should help you to get started. Best of luck!  Chzz  ►  22:23, 19 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

ようこそ
  • You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.
  • Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

There's lots of information below. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia!

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 10:13, 20 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Just use edits that are sourced and comply with WP:RS. If the other editors who are deleting continue , I shall be forced to rewrite the entire page based on recent press which is WP:RSCatapla (talk) 00:18, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please be civil

edit

Hi, just thought I'd ask you to remain civil on talk pages if you can. Your use of "VANDAL PARTISAN" on Talk:Declan_Ganley seems a bit unneccesary. Cheers Smartse (talk) 22:37, 25 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I realise that but there seem to be plenty of people on the case now so reliably sourced information will be kept on the article. Also are you aware that User:QuotationMan has said that you may have a COI with regard to Libertas and assumes you are related to peoplekorps. He did so here and it has been discussed further at WP:COIN here. Smartse (talk) 11:43, 26 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Oh User:QuotationMan has promised not to edit the articles anymore now as well. Smartse (talk) 11:46, 26 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Nana Pacific

edit

A tag has been placed on Nana Pacific requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. A new name 2008 (talk) 01:03, 19 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
