I contacted the subject of this article about his birth date and he asked me to delete the entire article. Trinny116 (talk) 08:25, 18 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi Trinny, if you want the article to be deleted, add {{db-author}} to the page, and an admin will come along and delete it. 66.57.4.150 (talk) 01:21, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

You should not delete posts on article talk pages (unless they are vandalism or personal attacks). If the page gets too long, it can be archived--Elen of the Roads (talk) 14:15, 3 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Just noticed above - your IP gave you wrong advice, but I think he thought you were referring to an article in userspace. I can list the article for deletion at Articles for Deletion if you like - I can't attach another PROD template as you removed the last one. --Elen of the Roads (talk) 14:20, 3 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi Elen. Yes, Mr Sparrow is a private person and would like it removed. I am thinking of doing an article on his comic book Jet Metal instead. Sorry for the hassle Trinny116 (talk) 18:08, 13 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:Fighters04.png

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Fighters04.png, which you've sourced to Fighters magazine 2008. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 00:15, 8 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Two drafts

edit

Hi, I'm reviewing your draft at User:Trinny116/Bloodrunners, and was going to move it from your user space to the drafts space, but another version already exists there, at Draft:Bloodrunners. That one isn't as developed and hasn't been submitted for review, so I'm assuming it's an earlier attempt, and that you're wanting to go with the submitted draft instead? In which case, could you please blank the Draft:Bloodrunners (just delete all content) which will flag it up for deletion, so that I can then move the newer draft there. Thanks, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:15, 6 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

okay, so as this article is about something that happened pre-internet, are photographs of magazine articles and news items sufficient? Is it legit to have them on the Bloodrunners stie - https://www.bloodrunners.com/press-clippings/ If not, shall I upload them to wikimedia? There are many websites and forums that talk about Bloodrunners' influence on their life choices, plus the Facebook page that has 2000 followers. This particular post was asking about Bloodrunners' influence:
