My new Bridgette Meinhold article edit

Thank you, Tomato 33, for reviewing my new article about Bridgett Meinhold today! I really appreciate it! I will address the "orphan" status of the article during the next week or so. Will the "new unreviewed banner" be removed shortly? Or are there any additional steps that I should take to have it removed?

Again, many, many thanks!!!

Mark (aka bbmusicman)Bbmusicman (talk) 20:21, 26 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hey Mark! I removed the banner, but will add some tags for the additional things that are needed :) I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work! Tomato 33 (talk) 20:52, 26 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

CSD tagging edit

Good job on your recent contribs! I would ask that you use Twinkle to do speedies, because it leaves a log that I can examine. Thanks! If at any time you feel you've learned enough from me, feel free to drop me a note. I've updated the adoption page. Cheers! --Lixxx235 (talk) 21:04, 26 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hey Lixxx235, thanks :). I thought I was using the Twinkle to do speedies, it's the handy sidebar right? Somehow the logs don't appear :O I'm resetting the option on Twinkle to see if it works :) Tomato 33 (talk) 21:10, 26 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
No, the sidebar is Article Curation- Twinkle is a little "TW" next to the normal drop down menu for moving, next to the search bar(on vector). Cheers! --Lixxx235 (talk) 21:15, 26 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
oh :( It does not seem to work, I've only been using that Article Curation as it's bloody awesome :). I'll use the TW instead :) Tomato 33 (talk) 21:18, 26 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, Article Curation is really nice. It only shows up on newish articles though, and you can't use it to send warnings, request protection, auto report to AIV, etc. I personally just use Twinkle for the log on new articles! even if Curation shows up. Once you get about 200 mainspace edits, about 50-80 of which are counter vandalism, I will recommend you request the Rollbacker permission- a lot of Wikipedia anti-vandal tools use whether you have that or not as a measure of trustworthiness. Cheers! --Lixxx235 (talk) 21:25, 26 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
If you'd like to see my CSD log, it's here. It's a bit empty, because it started over about a week and a half ago. The redder it is, the better ;) --Lixxx235 (talk) 21:27, 26 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Haha :) I noticed your CSD log as my original edit on my own message was this "::edit It does not seem to work, I've only been using Twinkle as it's bloody awesome :). What do you think is wrong? I've seen your log and according to the settings my page should have that too (I ticked the boxes and left the CSD log name as default. Maybe it updates daily?" :).

I'll remember the rollback thing :) How many user are in the anti-vandalism squad? :), btw my first little pony (log) Tomato 33 (talk) 21:38, 26 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

No, it should update instantly. Try confirming the settings, then clear your browser cache. --Lixxx235 (talk) 21:43, 26 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
The CVU isn't really a formal thing; people can join and leave as they wish, and there's no way, to my knowledge, to see who's "in" it. --Lixxx235 (talk) 21:46, 26 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
My quick advice: if an article has had no sources for a month, you can use CSD-A7. It's faster than PROD- PROD takes 7 days, while speedy can be very quick. --Lixxx235 (talk) 21:50, 26 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your time :) I've learned a lot today! I'm off to bed! Tomato 33 (talk) 22:01, 26 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
G'night! Lixxx235 (talk) 22:08, 26 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for May 27 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Heuweltjie, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dutch (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Thanks edit

Hi Tomato 33; thanks for your review on my first article, Polina Vinogradova! I'm still pretty new at this so glad that it was all OK haha. I appreciate the review; thanks again :) Regards, --Dalek194 (talk) 16:01, 27 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

No problem Dalek194! If you want to improve it, please add some more information on her. Try to search the internet for reliable sources. Maybe a personal life section, or education? Try looking at other Tennis player's wikipedia pages to get inspiration! Tomato 33 (talk) 16:05, 27 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Edit edit

I only changed it to 'raciest' as it seemed to fit the article better but it can remain as the original wording. I changed it to 'Jackson' since artists are usually referred to by their last names on Wikipedia. User5482 (talk) 21:32, 27 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Your contributed article, Tomato 33/aorta edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Tomato 33/aorta. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Aorta. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Aorta – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions.  SAMI  talk 15:37, 28 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

User:Tomato 33/aorta edit

Hi, I've moved your article from the mainspace to User:Tomato 33/aorta. Keep in mind that your userspace has the prefix User:Tomato 33/, not just "Tomato 33". Eagles 24/7 (C) 15:59, 28 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Haha, yeah I noticed! thanks :)Tomato 33 (talk) 16:00, 28 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Hello Tomato 33! I'm having a little trouble seeing any differences that you've made to the article, other than changing the heading structure so that it no longer meets WP:MEDMOS#Anatomy. Instead of renovating the entire article, many editors start off their editing careers by making minor but substantial edits to articles. If you have an interested in Aorta, how about work on a single section or two in the article? The Aorta#Clinical significance and Aorta#Function sections completely lack citations and could be substantially increased in size. How about you make a series of edits, small in scope, to these sections. You could: improve clarify, add subsections, copyedit, find reliable sources, and expand the sections so that they are suitably comprehensive. Cheers, --LT910001 (talk) 02:25, 3 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
