Welcome! edit

Hello, Tinybubi, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Important notice edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has enacted a more stringent set of rules. Any administrator may impose sanctions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Other account? edit

For someone with only 17 edits, you seem to have a very good understanding of wiki-markup and acronyms/page listings. Have you ever edited under another account? Is someone else giving you offline advice as to what to edit/look at policywise? -bɜ:ʳkənhɪmez (User/say hi!) 21:33, 28 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

I'm a developer and wiki-markup is easy. I used to edit heavily in my college days and had to deal with a lot of BDS types, so I've read all the policies and guidelines. For such a new account, you seem to be quite knowledgeable too. Are you a fresh starter? Tinybubi (talk) 06:21, 29 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Email edit

I do not engage in off-wiki discussions with people, when I do not know who they are--both whta other accounts they may have had in WP , and to a certain extent, in real life. Anything you choose to tell mewill of course be confidential. I will tell you, however, that it is sufficient here to refute one's opponents without trying to drag them down, and that it is necessary not to fall into the trap of trying too hard. June 2021 edit

This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on others again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. The casting of aspersions and other thinly veiled personal attacks are not allowed, no matter what you think. RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 22:38, 3 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom/Covid edit

You are involved in a recently filed request for arbitration. Please review the request at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case#Origins of COVID-19 and, if you wish to do so, enter your statement and any other material you wish to submit to the Arbitration Committee. As threaded discussion is not permitted on most arbitration pages, please ensure that you make all comments in your own section only. Additionally, the guide to arbitration and the Arbitration Committee's procedures may be of use.

Blocked edit

This is totally unacceptable, disruptive, and a statement must be made against it. You are clearly reasonable well-versed in our expectations and standards, despite your relatively low edit count. I have blocked you for 48 hours, and I imagine if you transgress again after the block has lapsed, it will be significantly longer. Please stop casting aspersions and attacking other editors like you did here.

Regards

Who are "we" in "We have seen many accounts like yours before, and you almost always end up getting banned and never let back"? edit

Email edit

Hello. Unfortunately, I'm not available to engage in private correspondence with someone whom I've never met before, but in any case, I didn't understand your question (at all). Regards, El_C 18:47, 6 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

El_C, I give permission to DGG to share my email to Arbcom with you. Coming up soon. Tinybubi (talk) 19:00, 7 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, not interested. El_C 19:09, 7 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
Tho I was included in the email, I'm not presently an arbitrator. Just like El C, I'm not comfortable with this sort of lobbying. DGG ( talk ) 04:48, 8 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom statement edit

Statements in ArbCom cases are limited to 500 words; yours, by my count, is 678, and should be edited down to fit. A good place to start might be removing some of the confrontational language and unsourced claims ("RC can often be found stalking the talk page of his favorite pocket admin" lacks even a single diff, as far as I can tell). jp×g 20:26, 7 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Tinybubi, please don't alter your comments after someone (like myself) have already responded to them (diff). Please use strikethrough (<s></s>) or any other note acknowledging the change. El_C 20:48, 7 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ah, I see what happened now. I'm not an ArbCom clerk, but I think 600'ish, while borderline, is tolerable. Anyway, my advise above stands, but in the context of JPxG's comment now (which I overlooked). Anyway, another way to acknowledge a comment alteration is to use inline redaction: {{redact|text}} If you wish to make a major alteration, you can simply note that at the bottom of your section, saying something to the effect of: I've altered my original comment ([diff]). Hope this helps. El_C 20:59, 7 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Email edit

Do not send me copies of emails that are also being sent to the ArbCom. Also, do not send me off-wiki emails about a topic that you are also discussing with the ArbCom. I don't know exactly what you are trying to do, but it isn't useful. Robert McClenon (talk) 22:23, 7 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ok. Thanks. Tinybubi (talk) 23:01, 7 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

COVID-19 accepted and resolved by motion edit

The ‎Origins of COVID-19 case request you are a party to has been accepted under the name COVID-19 and resolved by motion with one remedy which supersedes the community authorized general sanctions with discretionary sanctions. Sanctions made under the previous community general sanctions are now discretionary sanctions and alerts made under the community GS are now DS alerts.
