Hello, I'm Arthur Rubin. An edit that you recently made to 1991 seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, please use the sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! — Arthur Rubin (talk) 02:33, 9 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

You seem not to have read my comment. The convention is that, for someone to appear in the births or deaths section of a year article, the person must be internationally notable, and there must be a Wikipedia article about the person, not just about the death. In some rare cases, the death might be a notable event (e.g., The day the music died). — Arthur Rubin (talk) 21:21, 30 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello. This is a message to let you know that the edits you made to Burning Sun scandal, [1], did not appear constructive and have been undone. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Errors in year articles

edit

As I pointed out earlier, there are various conventions in year articles which you are violating. Your last edit to 1992 had 5 errors, 4 of which you could easily see. Specific errors which you have been making recently (not all in that edit, are)

  1. Formatting entries:
Birth and death entries are of the form
    or
The description is usually not to include the names of groups the person is associated with (e.g., for George Harrison, the description would not include the Beatles). The dates are in chronological order, and the names are in alphabetical order by surname within dates. See WP:YEARS#Example Year for some other formatting examples.
  2. There should have a Wikipedia article about the person, and the person should be internationally notable. (Convention used to be the person must be internationally notable before his death, but that seems to have been revoked)
  3. Images are also to be in chronological order, are to be the same width (120px in recent articles), and should not extend beyond the end of the month in question. It is generally agreed that there is a stricter standard for including an image than for including the entry, but there doesn't seem to be agreement as to what it is.

Non-free rationale for File:MSM Jospeh Garrett.png

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:MSM Jospeh Garrett.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — JJMC89(T·C) 20:13, 26 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Dantdm.png

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Dantdm.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 03:26, 29 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Choi Jong Beom

edit

A tag has been placed on Choi Jong Beom, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. List of suicides

edit

Hi. Thanks for making an addition to the List of suicides article. However, please do not add information that is not supported by the cited sources. The source you cited does not make any mention of the method of suicide, which is required by Wikipedia's policies on verifiability. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 17:18, 19 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

On the reliability of sources you have used for Goo Hara

edit

Hi, I noticed that you have been contributing relatively a lot on Goo Hara, and your contributions have been reverted a number of times. This is primarily due to the sources you have used in your contributions, i.e. allkpop, koreaboo, etc. Do take note that these sources are be considered as unreliable as listed in Wikipedia:WikiProject Korea/Reliable sources#UR, thus would be reverted even if the content may seem valid. These sites generally are of translations of the actual news sources, and I suggest that you take the time to look up on the actual news source if you want your future contributions to stick. – robertsky (talk) 09:00, 24 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Choi Jong Beom

edit

Hello, Timler3789. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Choi Jong Beom".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted.
