Speedy deletion declined (Update: declined in error, actually accepted): Just Dance Wii 2

Hi, thanks for getting in touch. I saw the same Amazon page as well, and all seemed fine... Until it appeared that the track listing on the page in question was completely incorrect, and that the correct information was already located on Just Dance 2, except it was correct - there were no similarities between track lists, and I couldn't find any track list matching the one on Just Dance Wii 2, leading me to think that it was simply a hoax. Hello theop, my question is:is there any point in staying engaged on a page where an editor erased everything I and others, with advanced degrees, balanced emotional lives, and familiarity with subject, invested time and expertise over the years. I did put this on his talk page. Hello David, I started out reading a nice description of my alma mater, Saint Louise de Marillace High School, and followed the invitation to add to the stump. I am a copy editor and writer, so I fixed grammar and punctuation, and added some other facts. The entire post that had been there, and my contributions, have been withdrawn. So, teach me. What was wrong that everything has been revoked, removed? I have registered. I want to help. This has me really frustrated. Okay, not sure I know exactly what you're asking me... "license for my work".... do you mean, how to license it so that anyone else can use it? Or something else? If so, you can choose that setting when you upload it to the Commons. And then, for size: Corel Draw is a vector program, which means it creates images that can be scaled up to any size with losing any quality, while maintaining a relatively small file size. Thanks for your help with "Rudy Buttignol". I am terribly sorry about the caps in my editing notes. I did them for myself, forgetting that kind people like you also read them.

I am having trouble inserting a correct citation after the "nine Gemini Awards". (I'm afraid to leave this page now for fear of losing it if I go back into the document.) After the "nine Gemini awards" there is an http citation from imbe that ends in "...nm0125372". To get the awards to come up first time around, "/awards" has to be added to the end = "...nm0125372/awards". I tried to add it but it didn't work.

I wish that I was better at Wikipedia. I am trying so hard!

Help needed to clear the Feedback Dashboard queue

Hi Theopolisme, a project has been constructed and Maryana (WMF) was wondering if you'd be able to help out with a research project her colleagues are running on the effects of MoodBar/Feedback Dashboard. They're trying to see if getting a response to MoodBar feedback helps newbies edit more – but to do that, they need to (temporarily) raise the level of responses to as close to 100% as possible. (Don't worry; it's only a week-long test.) If you could help me and her spread the word among the other FD top responders you know to help us clear the backlog by June 19th, that would be awesome! Little question, if you have a chance... why do the numbers of the top responders drastically decrease (ie, for me, from 70 --> 20) after every few days? Just curious. Theopolisme<sub>TALK</sub>04:27, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

The numbers have most likely decreased because of responders getting bored of telling users the same thing over and over again. It also could be because there are many responders who are currently in school and have exams. We don't know exactly but this project should be able help clear up questions too.

Hrm, not like that exactly... but the raw number of responses listed in the sidebar fluctuates a bunch every day. Example: I made 70 responses, it displayed that in the sidebar the next day, the day after that it said 20. Is that # of responses daily or something? Rudy Buttignol

Good morning, Theo. Many thanks for the very helpful message that you sent to me yesterday. "Rudy Buttignol" is my first attempt at Wikipedia. I think that I started about a week ago. It takes me a long time to do anything and to navigate my way around. I have started this new message here because I was unable to find your message from yesterday, June 11th.

In your June 11th message, you made 2 main points:

1) To "write in chronological order rather than resume multiple section style". Thanks for removing the "Awards" section heading and I can see how the article looks better.

2)To use only reliable sources such as those in newspapers and books.

I think that I am confused about when to use an external link [[ ]] and when to use a reference .

The difficulty that I am having with using newspaper references that are not http is that I find the appropriate links and the entire article about Rudy Buttignol through Google, and then when I go to the newspaper can't get all of the information, especially the page #. I contact the newspaper for that info and then hear nothing. Are links to online newspaper articles not good sources to use on Wikipedia?

Also, regarding Rudy Buttignol's volunteer service to organizations such as the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television and the Canadian Cultural Review Board, I do not know how else to verify that he sits on these boards without linking to the section in the appropriate website. Is this correct for Wikipedia?

I really appreciate the rigour that Wikipedia supports regarding sources and for all of the help that you have given me. And I do want to present the best possible Wikipedia submission for Rudy Buttignol.

External Links are actually listed at the end of the article (in an aptly named "External Links" section... this is the place for links to, for example, an IMDB profile or their business profile on a website. /// As far as "reliable sources such as those in newspapers and books", that's not necessarily true - you can also use websites and such (if they're of reputable places)... so, for newspaper references, you can use the HTTP. I'm sorry Theopolisme. Now is not a good time for the CVU instruction; I am a tad bit too busy in real life to be honest. But hopefully when my school closes for summer (around 28 June), then we can start. Here IB is totally killing me with all these deadlines; First a test is announced, then the next day submit an assignment, then the next day, another assignment and so on and so forth. Hopefully, the pain will all be over on June 28 (but next year, is my final year of International Baccalaureate, and It's gonna be hell D: ), but since summer is only a 2-month break, we'd get lots done during that period from June 28 to August 20.
