April 2010 edit

New billboard chart policy edit

As per consensus at WP:record charts there is a new guide to using Billboard Charts available at Billboard charts guide. Mainstream Top 40 (Pop Songs) (formerly known just as Pop Songs) is no longer deemed a component chart - there is no evidence to support this motion.Lil-unique1 (talk) 19:36, 1 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

My Thomas Fiss Article edit

Your choices concerning what constitutes a reliable source are completely arbitrary. All sources for reliable information on Thomas Fiss have been removed from the external links except for his official MySpace. If you bother to look at his MySpace, you'll see that he's using that site to link to his verified Twitter account (as well as his YouTube channel, his justin.tv channel, the thomasfissmusic.com website, etc.). Why are these sources any less reliable? We are dealing with an entertainer who is constantly involved in new projects. Have you decreed that Wikipedia is not the proper place to provide current information on entertainers? When you delete reliable information, you are not helping Wikipedia achieve its purpose. Wikipedia is supposed to provide information. You and other heavy handed, insensitive editors are impediments to that goal. I wonder how many individuals would be active, contributing authors of Wikipedia articles had they not been mistreated by editors who seem to delight in destroying their work. Do you even make an effort to determine if information is accurate before you delete it? Do you ever make a good faith effort to judge the reliability of a source? You are not doing anyone any favors by preventing us from sharing accurate information. You are not making Wikipedia better. You are just indulging your own ego. It's the intellectual equivalent of bullying.Paparazzo Presents (talk) 04:08, 3 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Killa Tay edit

If he lacks notability, then all the articles about his albums certainly would, correct? Enigmamsg 16:21, 5 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

terrence hanton edit

you would have to contact him, and he would have to provide you with evidence of his past and following. you shouldn't post untrue comments about him, and he is in the process again of proving you wrong! he knows who's behind this, and he keeps an army close. so beware! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.145.242.159 (talk) 05:11, 24 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Concept Album edit

You are one of the few users still active who helped to cleanup this article. The good debate about what should be mentioned in the article has started up again and was wondering if you would like to comment. Ridernyc (talk) 14:19, 8 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject Walking edit

TheJazzDalek - I have noticed that you have contributed to the List of people who have walked across the United States, and cordially invite you to participate in a new WikiProject Walking that I have proposed. Your support for the project, active or passive, would be appreciated. Bezza84 (talk) 19:56, 4 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of List of tribute albums edit

The article List of tribute albums has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Purpose redundant to Category:Tribute albums and its long list of subcats.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
