Inception edit

Did you see that movie? Could DiCaprio just shout out to the corporate guy to dissolve his company? No, he had to plant the idea deep! :)

Don't worry too much about a word. A word outside of context is just a word and you need no worry that any reasonable reader not understand something without the use of any adjectives. The problem with Macedonia (ancient kingdom) article lead as I see it was that is was abruptly cut before summarizing most uncontested and strictly Greek aspects of the kingdom. If Georgios Samaras is scoring and they are wearing blue and chanting "Hellas", surely it must be Greece that is playing ball! :)

If you truly just signed in to help, I could use some help with sources and expanding some sections of the rest of the article. I was once like you but when I think: where did I do the most good job? I better appreciate the work I've done as a prime contributor to Macedonians (Greeks) and elsewhere and than all the futile argumentation in the talk pages. But I sympathize that. P.S. You can edit your userpage with something. Otherwise it makes your signature strike as a red link. Also please use ":" or "::" or ":::" etc. to properly indent your replies in talk. By the way is your username a reference to Slashdot? Shadowmorph ^"^ 19:09, 22 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for helping me understand how to make my posts better. I'd like to help improve the article about the Macedonian kingdom, please tell me where is there missing information and if i can i shall suggest further edits. TheAnonymousCoward (talk) 19:29, 22 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
Sure no problem. I always though that the section about Macedonian empire was too small in respect to the rest but I don't know how to add content that wouldn't overlap with conquests of Alexander the Great, Diadochi etc. So there is a challenge for you.Shadowmorph ^"^ 20:40, 22 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
Alexander wanted to transfer people of the conquered territories to Europe and people of Europe to Asia in order to mix the populations with marriages and create blood ties between them, because he believed it would result in a more stable empire. This is why he set an example by marrying Roxane and having his generals married to Persian princesses. Historians believe that he was also planning to go west. Apparently there was a document, probably written by Eumenes, that came into the hands of Diodorus Siculus, that told of Alexanders future plans. The military plans that it told of was the conquest of Arabia, then the building of 1000 large warships for a campaign to take Carthage and the western Mediterranean. It also told of the building of a military road all the way across North Africa from Alexandria to Gibraltar complete with harbors, bases and arsenals. This is what i know, I'm not sure if any of this information is included in any other article. TheAnonymousCoward (talk) 21:28, 22 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
I seem to be unable to write in the talk page of the article about the Macedonian kingdom? Is something wrong? TheAnonymousCoward (talk) 22:23, 22 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
As Shadowmorph explained on his talkpage, this had nothing to do with you. The page unfortunately had to be "semiprotected" because of a particularly persistent long-time banned abuser, who is stupid enough that each time his socks are caught and reverted he will still persist in edit-warring his edits back in right until the page is protected, simply out of spite and to annoy others. As far as you are concerned, I've remedied it by manually setting your account to "confirmed", so you should be able to edit the page again now. Fut.Perf. 07:30, 23 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
Oh ok i was worried for a second, thanks for making me a confirmed user. TheAnonymousCoward (talk) 08:43, 23 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Edits edit

I would advise that you expand your edits and area of expertise, as they seem to be focused only on the one area and may give other editors the idea that you are biased. Luxure Σ 00:45, 27 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

I don't know how defending the wikipedia sources and generally accepted truths against biased opinions from editors who cannot base their claims on anything concrete is bias on my part, but thank you for your advice. I'll certainly try to expand my area of expertise since this can be used against me and my struggle to keep the truth in certain wikipedia articles.TheAnonymousCoward (talk) 10:58, 30 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
You are still arguing. I simply said expand your editing or you could be accused of bias. Luxure Σ 08:15, 2 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

September 2015 edit

Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on Talk:Macedon. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Referring to me as a "Skopjan" is highly racist. I have disclosed my ethnicity multiple times as Australian and you still seem to believe I have some hidden agenda. Please stop immediately. Luxure Σ 06:26, 14 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Says the one attacking every Greek with racist terms about their country, calling it a "banana republic", calling people fuckwits, using my username in order to attack me by saying it's "fitting". If anyone should be banned that is you. And you also have removed comments that made too much sense in order to continue pushing your POV. You are a disgrace of an editor and a disgrace of a human being as well and I will do whatever I can to have you banned instead. Don't talk to me here, the presence of your name is revolting enough in the article's talk page. You disgust me and I hope you're banned from this site which you're desperately trying to ruin.TheAnonymousCoward (talk) 08:48, 14 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Don't waste your time edit

With those fools at ANI. Nothing's going to happen. Athenean (talk) 22:33, 14 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for reassuring me, it's kind of annoying having to defend yourself whenever someone tries to silence you, especially when you don't intend to spend that much time on wikipedia talking about things that matter. Instead I'm spending even more time talking about one particular user's fantasies. haha I'll try to take your advice mainly for my own good, in the end it is as you said a waste of time.TheAnonymousCoward (talk) 08:11, 15 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
