Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on 12.7x55mm requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Personal defense weapon to Assault rifle (your addition has since been removed). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. If you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:50, 19 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

7.62×54mmR

I have a question for you about this edit. What is the word "this" referring to in the content you added to the section? When you say "used in this cartridge", which cartridge are you referring to? Because I do not see a certain cartridge referenced in the beginning of the paragraph. Are you referring to a cartridge referenced in the image of the article? Also is discussing a cartridges merits with its ability to feed apply in this section? I am not trying to be rude by asking these questions, I am just trying to make wikipedia a better place. And thank you for joining wikipedia! Viewratio (talk) 17:55, 23 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

I left my response on your talk page. I haven’t really used the talk page much, so I didn’t know right away. That Guy From That Place (talk) 03:58, 24 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of 12.7x55mm

edit

The article 12.7x55mm has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Lack of Notability

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
