Charles Miller, always known as Chazz was born in Detroit in 1963 in Detroit, Michigan. He is an American Painter and Street Artist, Children Art Teacher, Motivational Speaker. Miller says that his artwork takes a satirical view of social, political and cultural issues, deconstructing the physiology of subliminal suggestion, fairy tales, mainstream media, and religion that make up our culture. 50 years of my life's journey: diverse experiences of traveling the world, working with all sorts of people in different communities-- visually developing this journey has been a work of shear joy and pain. The focus of my large-scale public art is to project inner visions of truth into the world, in the form of large outdoor murals; working closely with the community to create outdoor galleries that raise the social and environmental aesthetic and that touch the individual on the deepest psychic and personal level. My goal is to enable those involved to recognized the importance of creating positive human experiences, while creating art.[1]

November 2016 edit

Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Derrick May (musician). I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! Speedy deletion nomination of Chazz Miller edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Chazz Miller requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.saatchiart.com/chazzoriginalz. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A tag has been placed on Chazz Miller requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Your recent edits edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 18:18, 12 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Artist Village edit

Hey there!

I checked my watchlist today and saw that you'd created an article for Artist Village. I gave it a once-over and marked it as patrolled.

One thing that I'm not sure how to word properly is "Located in the African American community". The thing is, a community isn't really a geographical place, so a building can't really be "located in" a community, but it sounds wrong to say that it's in an "African American district", because segregation is theoretically not a thing anymore. You can certainly say that the project serves the community. What would you say is the best way to express the concept you're aiming at?

Cheers, --Slashme (talk) 10:01, 30 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hey, thank-you for the advice, how are you? How was your trip back?
Interesting idea you just brought up about the word "community" not really being a geographical location, and if we call it a district that does sound more neutral, indeed.
Lets use the word district instead of community.
Detroit is a changing place, I do think an artist district is appropriate too.
I added the geographical information into wikidata https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q29200662
and create an infobox to connect the information from wikidata into wikipedia. Do you have any tips about this?
Cheers! Chickee 00:39, 2 September 2017 (UTC) How do I make my signature cool like yours? ha ha, someone of is a step a head of me, I have to read this page.

Hey there! I'm doing great, thanks. I'm back at work, and having ups and downs in motivation levels, but I'm doing 100 WikiDays in Afrikaans, so that keeps me engaged.

Sorry for the slow reply: I didn't notice that you'd answered me :-) To attract my attention, you can link my username like this: [[User:Slashme]] so that I get a notification. To put in a signature, just type three tildes: ~~~ , and to put in a signature with datestamp, type four tildes.

I like the wikidata work you're doing! I'm not sure that the article should get an infobox, though: infoboxes exist to summarize the key facts from long, complicated articles. I have added the location to the article, though. --Slashme (talk) 08:56, 7 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
