Mediterranean continental climate moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Mediterranean continental climate, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ~StyyxTalk? 21:13, 1 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Copying / moving content within Wikipedia requires attribution edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Humid continental climate into Temperate continental climate. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 16:14, 2 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Subhumid temperate climate edit

The article Subhumid temperate climate has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The terms "Subhumid temperate climate" and "monsoon temperate climate" are not used in the Köppen climate classification and are mainly made-up terms, especially as according to the Köppen classification, the Monsoon subtropical climate is usually considered as a variety of the Humid subtropical climate while the Highland subhumid temperate climate (which is actually the Subtropical highland climate) is usually considered as a variety of the Oceanic climate. And Cw in the Köppen classification actually stands for dry winters in temperate climates and not for the made-up "Subhumid temperate climate".

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 09:01, 31 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

The article Humid temperate climate has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Redundant as there is an article called temperate climate which covers these kinds of climates. Also, unsourced terms like "chinese climate", "britannic climate", "atlantic climate", and a completely made up classification of Cfbi for the highland climate as the Köppen climate classification schemes from cited sources never uses i in their classification schemes. Article is just pure original research, and made up classification schemes with no sources

The article Monsoon continental climate has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Monsoon continental climate is a made up term as the Köppen climate classification uses dry winter humidi continental climate. Also no sources mentioned anything it being called a Manchurian climate and the provided source just shows the line of the ITCZ nothing else.

The article Highland temperate climate has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced and original research with made up classification as the Köppen climate classification never uses i to denote highland climates. No such thing as a Cfbi, Cwbi, Csbi climates. Statements do not match the provided sources after verifying them

August 2022 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Highland temperate climate, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. This warning also applies to the other climate articles you have created: Subhumid temperate climate, Humid temperate climate and Monsoon continental climate.
