Your image uploads

Could I ask you to please stop uploading images here? You are not seeming to understand our policies regarding the use of images here. You can not take something you find on the Internet, such as the image at the top of the article here, and claim the image is yours and you control the copyright. This is false. The rights to that image, for example, are held by The Namibian. You can't just take their work and claim it is yours. Please STOP.

Every image you have uploaded here appears to have some sort of issue with it, whether it be licensing, source, attribution, what have you.

• I concur with denying this unblock request. TateMandume, with all respect, you've had multiple opportunities to correct your behavior. For whatever reason, you are not respecting/understanding our copyright policies. It's true; this dates back to 2015, and it's not just reserved to images. You added a great deal of copyrighted content to the Blue Waters F.C. article, which has now all been deleted (see article history). I gave you a warning above about your image uploads, asking you to stop uploading images for the time being. You ignored that request, and continued to upload even more images with highly problematic copyright situations. It is only now that you are blocked that you are finally engaging us on these issues. At this point, I have no reason to believe you have read and understand Wikipedia:Uploading images as I asked you to do. You should also read through Wikipedia:Image use policy. If you are unblocked, I would recommend you ask about whatever image you wish to upload to get help in understanding its copyright status and how best to proceed. As you gain experience and understanding, perhaps then directly uploading. But for now, both in images and in content, you do not seem to understand and/or respect copyright. This is serious. We take copyright very seriously here. I welcome your contributions. I really do! Lord knows we have precious few contributors from sub-Saharan Africa, and definitely need people such as you.
