I am trying to help you with this article. Please note that a thumnailed image is the way to display an image of the subject (unless the image is in an infobox), not a gallery. When the image is uploaded, it will display where the code is placed in the article. – ukexpat (talk) 16:12, 26 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I noticed that you moved the article to the mainspace. I have done some work adding relevant wikilinks and categories, and added project templates to the talk page. I am wondering whether we should nominate the article for a DYK spot on the main page. I'll think about a suitable "hook" and let you know. – ukexpat (talk) 04:57, 27 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Apparent autobiography

edit

You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved, as you did at Günter P. Wagner. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.

Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability.

If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion. If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedia:Wikipedians with articles.) Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 17:07, 29 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

First, please read the above carefully - I did not post the message. Second, if you are not the subject or otherwise in a conflict of interest with the subject, then we will assume good faith and removed the article tag.  – ukexpat (talk) 18:52, 29 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Per my comment above I have removed the tag. – ukexpat (talk) 22:34, 30 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
