Speedy deletion nomination of Addy Ventura edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Addy Ventura requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Feedback edit

Hi Sydney003, I noticed that in the article you recently published, Addy Ventura, you included no references whatsoever. Please review our training on adding references, which also explains why adding references are important--they help affirm the reliability of what you're saying. While creating articles in the future, we recommend drafting in your sandbox. In the sandbox, you can work on the article over time without the pressure to have everything "just right". Let me know if you have any questions in the future. Elysia (Wiki Ed) (talk) 19:03, 4 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Addy Ventura moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Addy Ventura, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. drafting articles in sandbox edit

Hi Sydney003, thanks for translating some articles. However, I have to ask that you stop using whatever word processing software that you're using to draft the translations, and instead use your sandbox. Nearly every article you've translated looks fine on the surface, but contains thousands of characters of junk code that I (or other users) have had to remove ([1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]).

Also please ensure that you are selecting high-quality articles for translation. Some of the articles you've translated have poor sourcing or no sourcing or use unreliable sources such as blogs. Thanks, Elysia (Wiki Ed) (talk) 16:31, 30 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

A page you started (Luz María Jerez) has been reviewed! edit

Thanks for creating Luz María Jerez.

I have just reviewed the page, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Currently essentially all of the content relies on the subject's blog, which is neither independent nor reliable. Please try to find additional citations to coverage in reliable sources. I am aware that you translated the page from Spanish, but just because an article exists on a different Wikipedia project does not mean that it meets notability guidelines for the English project (and vice-versa).

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Rosguill}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .
