December 2022 edit

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that in this edit to Chapli kebab, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 05:24, 25 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Alkhidmat Foundation moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Alkhidmat Foundation, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 15:04, 3 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Important notice edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Logan edit

Hey. I saw your edit summary. Fair, but what seems awkward to me is the inconsistency of this construction:

"Logan International Airport in Boston," followed immediately by "Los Angeles International Airport in California."

Since the article says "Los Angeles International Airport in California"—thereby covering the city and the state without going in the way of overexplanation—I was thinking we could follow suit by referring to Logan International Airport as "Boston Logan International Airport in Massachusetts". Would you be okay with that?

I get where you are coming from, but we are talking about cities here, i.e. the flight path was from Boston to New York City as is mentioned in the article, New York (New York State) isn't mentioned. Because of this, I think it should be "Logan International Airport in Boston to Los Angeles International Airport in Los Angeles", or simply "Boston Logan International Airport" to "Los Angeles International Airport". Let me know what you think. Swordfish31 (talk) 18:00, 27 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
