July 2018 edit

In reference to this edit, do not add/change people's birth names without adding a reliable source. Adding sources to WP:BLP is very important on Wikipedia. People get blocked for continually doing this, so please stop. Thanks. Sergecross73 msg me 18:39, 24 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

i did not know this was wrong. thank you so much for telling me. :) i should have found a better source. S̶U̶Z̶A̶N̶N̶E̶ ̶L̶E̶E̶ ̶P̶A̶R̶K̶E̶R̶ ̶|̶-̶/̶ (talk) 18:41, 24 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Is this your first account? It's not very often that people jump straight into WP:AFD discussions either. Sergecross73 msg me 18:46, 24 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
Is an afd discussion a delete an article discussion? I saw an article about a tour but there was practically nothing written on the page, and there was a banner that said we should share our thoughts. I think the article should be deleted because the tour has not happened yet. S̶U̶Z̶A̶N̶N̶E̶ ̶L̶E̶E̶ ̶P̶A̶R̶K̶E̶R̶ ̶|̶-̶/̶ (talk) 18:50, 24 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
Okay, right, but you didn't answer my question. Is this your first account? Your behavior is extremely similar to another editor with different name. Sergecross73 msg me 18:53, 24 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

In 2012 I made a Wikipedia account but I forgot the password. that may be me. S̶U̶Z̶A̶N̶N̶E̶ ̶L̶E̶E̶ ̶P̶A̶R̶K̶E̶R̶ ̶|̶-̶/̶ (talk) 18:55, 24 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Sergecross73: Hello. i saw you recently deleted all of my edits, which is really sad because i put a lot of hard work into those. I'm sorry if i did something wrong but i think you have a mistake. or maybe not. But the banner is calling me a puppet. I don't know who AlexanderHovanec is but i also hope this isn't because of an older account i made. i don't remember the password and so i had to abandon it but i only want to use this account. i asked about it in the "teahouse" too.

The problem is that you have the exact editing patterns as AlexanderHovanec, who has been indefinitely blocked from editing for repeatedly making problematic edits without sources. I find it too big of a coincidence that not only do you edit the exact same type of articles in the same manner, but have even literally made the exact same edits. For comparison's sake, Alex's edit and Suzy's edit. Coupled with Alex's tendency to create new accounts and get caught editing in the exact same manner, and its just too big of a coincidence to be unrelated. Disambiguation link notification for July 25 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Trench (album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dema (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

@NinjaRobotPirate: Hello NinjaRobotPirate, are you the one who blocked me? i'm sorry if I made a mistake. i still am not sure why i'm blocked. can you tell me? i won't do it again. Thank you.

Request reason:

Hi, i got on the computer today to see my account blocked and my edits reverted. did i do something wrong? Can i have my account back? Above someone called Sergecross73 told me i wasn't allowed to change biographies of living people without a source, and so i told him i wouldn't. i also don't understand what the banner means "This account has been blocked indefinitely as a sock puppet of AlexanderHovanec". What can i do?

Decline reason:

You have to explain your relationship with that editor. Yamla (talk) 17:59, 25 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

@Yamla: Hi Yamla, i don't know who the editor is but the banner said I'm his puppet?

@Yamla: Can I use the unblock template again? the message at the bottom says you can't make too many.

@Yamla: Are you a staff member of Wikipedia? I'm just feeling uneasy because all of my edits have been deleted and i put a lot of hardwork into them. You said I have to explain my relationship to AlexanderHovanec but i don't know how i'm related or what that means. Can you or another staff member help me S̶U̶Z̶A̶N̶N̶E̶ ̶L̶E̶E̶ ̶P̶A̶R̶K̶E̶R̶ ̶|̶-̶/̶ (talk) 18:25, 25 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

None of us are staff members, we are all volunteers. You can certainly make another unblock request. We kind of draw the line after about three, but you are very welcome to make a second one. --Yamla (talk) 18:32, 25 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

I've answered some of your concerns above. Basically, you have been making the exact type of edits (and in some cases, exactly the same edits) as long-term disruptive editor AlexHovanec. There are too many coincidences as to the similarities, and he's been prolific in making new accounts to evade his block. Sergecross73 msg me 18:34, 25 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Yamla: @Sergecross73: Ohh, I see, so I was mistaken for someone else. i hope i wasn't being too disruptive myself in any way. so above that's why i was asked if this is my first account. in 2012 i had an account that was simply called Suzy Parker, but i've never been blocked before. Thanks for letting me know, i'll use this in my unblock requests thanks S̶U̶Z̶A̶N̶N̶E̶ ̶L̶E̶E̶ ̶P̶A̶R̶K̶E̶R̶ ̶|̶-̶/̶ (talk) 18:43, 25 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Ok, i put in another request. Thank you for your help.

Request reason:

Hello, I would like to be unblocked. A volunteer named Yalma and a volunteer named Sergecross73 have spoken with me and i have been blocked because i was mistaken for another editor. If unblocked my edits will not be disruptive. Someone was concerned that i was using multiple accounts to edit but i would only like to use this one. Thank you. :)

Decline reason:

This request is not accurate. This is not the matter of "mistaken identity". Two editors actively and strongly suspect this person to be a sockpuppet. Myself, based off of obvious DUCK behavior, and another based on a CU. There is very good reason to believe this is one of many of AlexH's sock puppets. Sergecross73 msg me 19:07, 25 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
Oh no! You still think I'm someone else? what can i do? Do i cancel the unblock request? You say my behavior is similar to a disruptive editor? how can i be less disruptive? I thought i was doing everything correctly. S̶U̶Z̶A̶N̶N̶E̶ ̶L̶E̶E̶ ̶P̶A̶R̶K̶E̶R̶ ̶|̶-̶/̶ (talk) 19:11, 25 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
also, Can you please tell me what a sock puppet is for? what is DUCK behavior? why didn't the other editor tell me too? Would you like me to make another unblock request sergecross73?
No, I'm saying you are this other editor. Sergecross73 msg me 19:14, 25 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
