Welcome!

edit

Hello, Suryasingh3303, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask a question on your talk page. Again, welcome.  Doug Weller talk 17:54, 31 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please don't remove sources simply because you think they are wrong

Also read WP:NPOV. We can't state that the war was historical, we have to say it might not have been. Doug Weller talk 17:55, 31 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Iconoclasm, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you.   Please do not add or change content, as you did at Uttar Pradesh, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Your change is not supported by either of the cited references. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Annexation of Goa has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Please stop your disruptive editing. Changing the names of places in articles to different spellings to those used as our article titles, as you did at Allahabad is disruptive. We use the WP:COMMONNAME in English for our articles, not the "official" names. If you think that the article should have a different name than the one it does now, you should wait until August 2021 and then use the article talk page to discuss a potential change of name. -- Toddy1 (talk) 13:02, 5 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Dāsānudāsa. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Ram Janmabhoomi seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Dāsānudāsa (talk) 09:37, 6 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

ARBIPA sanctions alert

edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Bhagavad Gita. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 03:22, 21 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Fowler&fowler. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Azad Kashmir have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Please be aware that per the language agreed to in a WikiProjects India and Pakistan consensus, we use "India-administered," "Pakistan-administered," or "China-administered" for all large sub-regions of the disputed region of Kashmir. "Occupied" might well be used in India, but it is a POV term on WP. Please don't make that edit again. Fowler&fowler«Talk» 04:41, 21 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for slow but persistent disruptive editing, not following wikipedia's sourcing and NPOV policies, and lack of communication. While the block period is set to indefinite, I'd be willing to unblock you as soon as you communicate that you have read the linked policies and will endeavor to follow them from hereon..
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Abecedare (talk) 15:23, 23 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
