As of March 2013, I will be taking a very long wikibreak and I will be back in December 2013 or 2014 so will see you all in December 2013 or 2014. --Starship9000 (roller coaster fan) 02:03, 9 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Time for a break

Starship, in watching your edits to both your adoption page and the encyclopedia in general, it is clear that although you have a desire to improve Wikipedia, you don't have the maturity required to do so productively without constant watching by other editors. It is clear in your adoption program that you aren't completely able to comprehend many of our policies. I also note that you've begun making edits to Simple English Wikipedia, which might be a better fit for you for a while. The best option, I think, is for you to take a one year break from editing this Wikipedia. If you choose to do so, an administrator can use something called javascript to make it so you can't log in for a year. This would be beneficial for you, because you wouldn't have another block put on your block log. You would also be able to edit Simple English Wikipedia throughout the full time (although there will be a minor annoyance in that if you are editing Simple English and open an English Wikipedia page, you'll be logged out of Simple English). Would you be willing to accept this one year break with the assistance of the tool? Ryan Vesey 17:38, 25 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Starship, the problem is that you're not grasping the concepts in adoption. The first lesson should have been very easy, but it still took you three tries to get barely a passing grade. The policies we have are a little beyond you right now, so for the sake of Wikipedia, Ryan and I think it would be a good time for you to take a Wiki-Break and focus on Simple Wikipedia, which should be easier for you, and come back in a year or two on this Wikipedia. Go Phightins! 23:13, 25 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
Starship, although it may be easier for you to contribute at the Simple English Wikipedia, please note there are still policies and guidelines there as well. TBrandley (what's up) 23:15, 25 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
I agree with what the other editors are saying. I think you will have an easier time learning the rules here once you have had time to take a step back from Wikipedia for a while. We'll be happy to help you after your break. Andrew327 23:21, 25 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
I have to agree. You don't quite seem ready yet. Ultimately, the choice has to be yours, but I would also recommend trying simple for a while first. Tazerdadog (talk) 04:01, 26 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

March 2013

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 year for flagrant disregard of the conditions set for you remaining unblocked after your previous block expired - see also the discussion at AN. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 11:10, 2 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
Thanks! That must be for my wikibreak. --Starship9000 (roller coaster fan) 13:57, 2 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
I really hope that you come back next year. We'll all be here to help and support you then. Andrew327 03:13, 3 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
I love the simple english wikipedia and I made lots of contributions there. A6 and LOS are there. Is that block now a break block from wikipedia. Tell Kudpung to leave a note on my talk page about the block. Thanks! --Starship9000 (roller coaster fan) 14:41, 3 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Starship, the block has nothing to do with any Wikibreak you might be intending to make. The Wikipedia community has decided to stop you editing in the hope that when you are a year older you will have grown up enough to understand more things about the encyclopedia so that we don't have to keep following you around and cleaning up after you. If you haven't done so already, please read this because it concerns you. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 22:28, 4 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
Based on the note that you just added, I still don't think you understand. You will not be back in December 2013 because you will still be blocked from editing. You had the option of taking a Wikibreak, but you didn't take it and you kept making mistakes. As a result you were blocked for one year, which means that the earliest you can possibly start editing again will be March 2014. Andrew327 05:14, 9 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
Once again, this block is against you personally, and you cannot edit under any other name or under an IP address, as you just did (and got blocked for it.) It is usual for a timed block like this to be "reset" every time there is an incident of block evasion. Beyond My Ken (talk) 08:13, 9 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please note that your crosswiki abuse is being documented here. --Rschen7754 08:18, 9 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

  • Starship, I strongly urge you to stop evading your block, and to stop the cross-wiki abuse - you risk being indefinitely blocked from editing if you continue to sockpuppet, and cross-wiki abuse could even result in a global block. If I were you, I'd stay away from Wikipedia for the year (even avoiding reading it wherever possible, to reduce temptation), and come back when you are mature enough to understand what is expected of you. Lukeno94 (talk) 20:03, 9 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

I wish it hadn't come to this

Because of the vandalism spree that you are on, both with your user name and while logged out, Herby and I have submitted a proposal to block you from all Wiki projects. You are welcome to make a statement here if you wish, but honestly it would probably be too little too late to do any good. Remember that all blocks are against you personally, and if you edit in any way you will be blocked again. I recommend walking away from all Wiki projects and not looking back. Andrew327 19:12, 11 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

  • I too am disappointed, but highly unsurprised - as you may see from my comment above. You're an editor who may well be fantastic in the future: but right now, you're unfortunately causing infinitely more harm than good. Hopefully, when you mature, you will return, and edit constructively. I don't know how old you are, nor do I care, but I know that I was like this when I was younger, so there IS hope! :) Lukeno94 (talk) 21:54, 11 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

For you to edit on Wikidata

Hello, so I heard the Starship9000 account is locked. If the stewards won't unlock your account, wait until November of this year. Once 11/7/2013 of this year comes, Create another account to transfer to with the username of 4315Humble. Select the password you want and choose the e-mail you chose for your Starship9000 account. Then confirm your e-mail address after creating your 4315Humble account at Wikidata. Also, start editing with 4315Humble on the pages created on wikidata.

If this is what you wish to do, just do it in November 7, 2013. I made that plan for you. I'm Persian (talk) 00:38, 12 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

I do not know what's going on, but do not under any circumstance create another user account. I'm Persian is not authorized to provide any assistance regarding your block. Andrew327 01:07, 12 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Sockpuppet investigation

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Starship9000, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
