Big East Basketball edit

I see you were very active in editing Connecticut Huskies men's basketball. You should create a 2008–09 Big East Men's basketball season like 2008–09 Atlantic Coast Conference men's basketball season or 2008–09 Big Ten Conference men's basketball season for the Big East since it is doing so well this year.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 05:50, 30 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

I write 2008–09 Big Ten Conference men's basketball season and 2008–09 Michigan Wolverines men's basketball team and Jober14 (talk · contribs) does 2008–09 Atlantic Coast Conference men's basketball season and 2008–09 Clemson Tigers men's basketball team. Copy our formats as you find necessary if you like.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 06:12, 30 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
The key is to get started quickly while fans are still enthusiastic about this season. I would not wait long if you want help. Then make sure it is linked in the right places. Also, if you get a good start you can nominate it at T:TDYK and people will proofread it and help you to disambiguate links and such.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 06:14, 30 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Once Michigan got ranked in the middle of the season I got excited and created a conference page. At first I just waited for the results to come out every Monday and manually updated the table. Another guy added the POTW. For your team page, the incoming recruit templates are half loaded and half manual, but you have to figure out the team code. I will figure out your codes for you and drop it in. Then you can add in your recruits manually.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 06:44, 30 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
I just dropped in a table for you. The bottom part is preloaded. You have to do the rest yourself by looking at the links in the preloaded section. You should be able to figure it out from the Michigan and Clemson examples above.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 06:56, 30 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
I dropped a template in for your conference to link you to the other conferences that have pages. That way you can navigate to them to copy our work and formats and such as you please. I also put a link at the top of your standings to the conference page that is not visible from the conference page but that you can see from any other page with the standings template.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 08:17, 30 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

All-American honorable mention edit

I have only been able to find the honorable mentions for one of the recognized All-American lists. Drop me a note if you stumble across any of the others.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 14:04, 1 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

2009–10 Big East Conference men's basketball season edit

Hi - Just wanted to check in and see if you were planning (or are open to) creating and maintaining a 2009–10 Big East Conference men's basketball season page as you did last year. I'd love to see if we can get these going for all D1 conferences and am trying to see what coverage we have. After we see who is willing to do what, I can pick up 2-3 conference pages (maybe A10, CUSA, etc). Seems like this stuff is easier to do early in the season vs. later on when a lot of updating is needed! Rikster2 (talk) 21:06, 27 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
