Welcome to the Nickelodeon WikiProject's first newsletter! This is a weekly newsletter showing what we need to edit, and what we need to keep doing the same on. I hope you enjoy using this newsletter as a boost to your editing on Nickelodeon-related articles. Thanks for reading! Jonathan letters to the editor—my work 21:41, 21 October 2007 (UTC) Featured Article Nicktropolis Nicktropolis (also known as NT, Nicktrop or Ntrop) is a game on Nick.com where users with a NickName (username) and password may safely chat to their friends by using either pre-written messages or the Nick Safe Chat dictionary, which blocks out offensive language. Users can also chat with chatterbots posing as Nicktoons such as SpongeBob, Danny Phantom, and Jimmy Neutron. Users may buy items in Nicktropolis "stores" with NickPoints, which is the Nicktropolis currency. News and Notes Nicktropolis may meet the good article criteria. Please review it! We need opinions on whether the Nick.com article should be its own article or a section in Nickelodeon's article. Please review on this issue's talk page. This newsletter is issued weekly. It was nominated on August 14, 2008, and, as of press, is still pending a review. You can review the article, just be neutral when you do. WP:NICK is getting a face lift, and so are most aspects of it. Jonathan and Macy are working on this so far, but we'd love your help! If our code has an issue, or you think a new bit of code will make it look better, feel free to work with it! Collaboration of the Month Our next collaboration depends on the pending GA review of Nicktropolis. If there are problems Nicktropolis (per review) Fix these problems ASAP. When these are done, or if Nicktropolis goes GA Work on improving Nickelodeon's article Archives We made a new page just so we can archive these newsletters. Editor's note on the hiatus The newsletter went on hiatus for around 3 months because I took a wikibreak to get away from all the drama on Wikipedia. Let me tell you, though: I'm back, and I feel better than ever. I know, for this page, it's practically impossible to get it to a FA, but let's imagine we're trying to get it to FA status. Hi, You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
