Hurricane Matthew

I wanted to apologize for your not being able to edit the article. I was the one who requested that the article be semi-protected. Before it was semi-protected, it had pending changes enabled, which made users like me have to go in and review every edit made by users who weren't auto-confirmed. Unfortunately, even with that enabled, the page was being vandalized by IP editors who weren't well-meaning. Most of the pending changes were vandalism and had to be undone. I requested on ##wikipedia-en ^connect that one of the administrators semi-protect it, which they did. The good news is that your account will automatically be auto-confirmed in less than 48 hours. Edit Undone

Your recent edit at 2018 Pacific hurricane season was undone because it created several problems. Norman's current storm information was removed because is no longer an active tropical system. Additionally, you removed an entire section about TD Eighteen-E which is an active system. Thirdly, you removed links to the Hurricane Olivia article. Finally, you added outdated information to Olivia's section. I don't know what is going on, but please do not do this again or it will be considered vandalism. Are you referring to this revision that you reverted? All I remember is trying to update the external links from NHC's advisories to the CPHC's on the "lastest official information". I also remembered facing multiple edit conflicts when trying to make the edit. So I was trying to get my edit through the conflicts and accidentally reverted everything else. Right now, from your revision, the article points to NHC's advisories on the "latest offical information", so clearly those links are outdated as now the CPHC is issuing advisories on Olivia.
