Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Hun Sen and the Khmer Rouge

Hi, we've got a Cambodian resident who has added Hun Sen as a leader of the Khmer Rouge three times now. He's been reverted twice, once by me and once by PhnomPencil. He's now re-added with the edit text of "please stop remove Hun Sen From Khmer leader. He is Secret Khmer Rouge Leader and People in Cambodia have only 30% that know this. I want to show the world how bad he is. we need Democracy Leader in Our Country not Communist Leader like him". My knowledge of the politics at this point is hazy and my reversion was based on Hun Sen's article. Is/was Hun Sen actually a KR leader? Or, is User:Jameromeo using WP to push a political agenda? I don't want to generate an edit-war and don't want to push anything with him until I'm sure of my ground. Thanks, Beeswaxcandle (talk) 21:03, 7 August 2013 (UTC)

Jameromeo's edits is pov-pushing. Hun Sen was part of the KR movement, but hardly prominent enough to warrant inclusion in the lede of the KR article. Moreover, Hun Sen participated in the overthrow of KR rule in Cambodia. --Soman (talk) 02:43, 8 August 2013 (UTC)

DYK nomination of Skinnar Per Andersson

Hello! Your submission of Skinnar Per Andersson at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! BlueMoonset (talk) 04:19, 8 August 2013 (UTC)

This is a good list which has the potential to become a Featured List when it is completed. However, due to the small number of CMs from the CPI-M, there might come a proposal to merge this list with the Party article. I would suggest you to change the scope of the list to List of chief ministers from Left Front (India), as this will increase the list by 8 more CMs. ♛♚★Vaibhav Jain★♚♛ Talk Email 13:37, 7 August 2013 (UTC)

Thanks, and as you clearly see, your edits of the BJP list was the basis of this article. The problem is that LF doesn't include all of the CPI(M) nor CPI chief ministers. LF CMs are only 5 in total, 2 in West Bengal and 3 in Tripura. LDF in Kerala is a different structure, not part of the Left Front. Likewise, EMS first election in Kerala was in a different set of alliances. Later CPI chief ministers in Kerala governed with CPI(M) as their opponents. One could make a 'communist chief ministers' list though. --Soman (talk) 02:47, 8 August 2013 (UTC)
Something like List of chief ministers from Communist Parties of India will be good. ♛♚★Vaibhav Jain★♚♛ Talk Email 10:02, 8 August 2013 (UTC)
You can use File:Communist Parties of India in states.png in the list. ♛♚★Vaibhav Jain★♚♛ Talk Email 11:35, 8 August 2013 (UTC)
I'd say 'Communist Parties of India' is too close to the name CPI, 'communist' in lower-case could be better. But when did Maharashtra or Manipur have a CPI CM? That map doesn't seem correct. --Soman (talk) 13:45, 8 August 2013 (UTC)
The worldstatesmen.org said that Maharashtra had 2 CPI CMs, but their Wikipedia articles says that they were from INC. The website also says that Dasarath Deb, former Tripura CM, was a CM of Manipur. I am ending an email to the website editor to fix these errors. ♛♚★Vaibhav Jain★♚♛ Talk Email 06:40, 9 August 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Joghovourti Tsayn may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
