Disambiguation link notification for August 1
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Altaf Hussain, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chief of Army Staff (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Let's continue here, it's very obvious and evident that US, Saudi Arabia had helped pakistan in 1971 war, with the military forces, most notably the use of Navy. So i see no problem in keeping it added to the articles of Wikipedia. Capitals00 (talk) 13:34, 10 August 2013 (UTC)
- I once again ask you to read this discussion, WP:SNOW and look up Belligerents in a dictionary. When you are done with that bring a source that says US and Saudia Arabia were belligerents. --SMS Talk 13:38, 10 August 2013 (UTC)
- Seconded. Yintan 13:44, 10 August 2013 (UTC)
- RFC is already over, you are only breaking the rule of RFC, what's the problem in believing the fact that US, Saudi arabia helped Pakistan with the military in 1971 war? I don't see any source, i can find many more who refers to the same. Capitals00 (talk) 13:57, 10 August 2013 (UTC)
Should you feel the need
I'm in discussion with Capitals00 on my Talk. Yintan 13:54, 10 August 2013 (UTC)

DYK nomination of International People’s Tribunal on Human Rights and Justice in Kashmir
Hello! Your submission of International People’s Tribunal on Human Rights and Justice in Kashmir at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! Zia Khan 23:59, 11 August 2013 (UTC)
Thanks!
This RfC was closed because there was no consensus to include the USA as an "unofficial supporter" in the article's infobox, as she did not actually take part in the war. Then how the removal of Soviet Union and Saudi Arabia justifies throught same RfC? Cannot you see "United States" at the RfC? Poor drama mongering. Faizan 06:57, 12 August 2013 (UTC)
- Faizan you better watch your words, I may tolerate it but this ain't going to be tolerated if used persistently. And you can start another RFC on Soviet Union and Saudi Arabia, if you think they were belligerents. --SMS Talk 08:38, 12 August 2013 (UTC)
Thank you! → Vijay [talk] 20:39, 14 August 2013 (UTC)

Re: Undelete User Page
Hello AspieNo1. Your userpage was deleted as probably someone erroneously put a warning message there instead of your talkpage. And that is not a big issue, you can create your userpage whenever you want (by clicking this red link: User:AspieNo1.) --SMS Talk 19:14, 21 August 2013 (UTC)

First of all i would like to thank you for your contributions to wikipedia for accurate information. And i got your point regarding citation. I have verified the citation criteria and have found the references provided by me to be adequate to substantiate the facts. References from news agencies like reuters, the economist and sites like wikipedia itself is considered reasonably adequate.Mtwv (talk)Mtwv
- No, Wikipedia is not a reliable source. And you are cherry picking quotes from different sources to present a point of view , besides some of that text is pure synthesis. --SMS Talk 17:38, 20 August 2013 (UTC)
@smsarmad: Do you mean to say that the atrocities commited by pakistan on bangladesh and the statements made by president Obama and the defense secretary of united states to Reuters, the kargil "mistake of parvez musharaff", mistakes admitted by pak president Asif ali zardari were untrue. I provided the requisite citations too. I advise you to point out errors in any of the facts mentioned by me, discuss those and then think about undoing my post. As far as your "cherry picking" comment is concerned, when the whole world emphasizes these facts over and over again based on irrefutable evidence, somebody would definitely get hurt. Rather than PROVIDING FLIMSY EXCUSES OR DEVIATING FROM THE SUBJECT, TRY PROVIDING CONCRETE PROOFS TO REFUTE my facts that were presented. If i believe, your facts are from a reputed source, i would delete such portions or refrain from highlighting them. BTW don't quote from pakistani or indian news dailies, to keep our posts unbiased. Other international sources of repute are welcome.Mtwv (talk) 19:08, 20 August 2013 (UTC)Mtwv

Dear Sarmad,
The plausible emerging theory is that Tanolis have a Pashtun descent and belong to Karlanri super-Tribe of Pahtuns. In Pashtun culture, the head of a tribe is usually referred to as Amir. As such, the original tittle of Tanoli Tribe Head was Amir(pronounced as Mir). Furthermore, some Kashmiri tribes are also refereed to as "Mir" and there is a likelihood that they may term themselves as "Tanoli" and create further confusions about the history of Tanolis . I am sincerely making all possible efforts to compile "Shajra" of all Tanolis, especially of Hindwal sub-Tribe so as to avoid unnecessary addition of irrelevant people to this Tribe. We have to be accommodating for our own sub-tribes. I am presently studying in Melbourne University and exhausting all available resources to dig out the history of Tanolis. As per my own analyses after going through all available record, I am confident that the history of Tanolis has deliberately been distorted by terming Them as "Mongols" under their renowned strategy of "Divide and Rule". Till our association with other Pashtun Tribes like that of Tor Gar upto the period of Painda Khan, we Tanolis always emerged as conquerors. I hope this clarification would satisfy you.
Lets' join hands together to purify the Tanoli Tribe. If you have shajra of any sub-tribe please do share with me. For further clarifications you can also contact me on given e.mail. Looking Forward to hear from you
Regards
