reply to your concern regarding me adding unverified content on Wikipedia.

I read your message where you are worried that everything that I add on Wikipedia should be verified. Which page are you referring to let me know ? Please mention the page in your conversation in future. Swapnilraj55 (talk) 06:21, 15 September 2019 (UTC)

@Swapnilraj55: In futute Please reply on the page where the conversation was started. I was asking from where are you getting the information about actors, directors, production houses. What is the source behind these additions. Sid95Q (talk) 13:03, 15 September 2019 (UTC)

Don't revert the changes blindly. As I said the episodes that are available on streaming media are themselves proof of the content. If you have time watch them and you will realize that everything there is correct. I am noticing that you are making changes that are not true.. Some changes done by you are not correct. Please don't add false data. Don't misuse revert feature. Read the article properly in future. Swapnilraj55 (talk) 21:27, 22 September 2019 (UTC)

@Swapnilraj55: which streaming media it's your duty to provide the source with the content you added it's not my duty or other editors duty to find sources and if you talking about the videos available on YouTube and sites than please check WP:YOUTUBE Many YouTube videos of newscasts, shows or other content of interest to Wikipedia visitors are copyright violations and should not be linked, either in the article or in citations. so we cannot add content basis on these videos. So unless you don't have an established Reliable source anything you add could be challenged or removed by other users.

So Please note these points:

I agree that youtube is not reliable but not when the Episodes itself are there on YouTube. The name of the Episodes, the host, the cast, the way the show goes on can all be referenced by watching those videos. Example you read many wiki pages on movies which describe the plot. Are they referenced from any article, is the cast details referenced. The answer is no. The YouTube reference is being taken from Episodes and not any random video describing the show. Understand this. Swapnilraj55 (talk) 21:30, 24 September 2019 (UTC)

Regarding the details of cast and Episode numbers added on X Zone Wikipedia page:- All the Episodes of this show were available on Ditto TV website which was earlier the official streaming website of Zee TV. When they changed their site to OZEE they removed all the videos. So its not correct that you discard these information. Just because a site doesn't exist anymore doesn't mean that it is not true anymore. And why are you asking the source of cast details of the shows. Haven't you read the existing articles of TV shows and movies. Is everything there sourced ? Most of the details are written by watching those videos. It is 100 percent reilable source of information. And you need to understand the difference between blogs and other forums. I added content from tellychakkar which you removed blindly. Tellychakkar is a reputed old forum and the content there is written by journalists just like other sites. It has a verified symbol on all platforms. Swapnilraj55 (talk) 21:39, 24 September 2019 (UTC)

@Swapnilraj55: As mentioned in my edit summary Tellychakkar is not consider reliable as per Wikipedia:ICTFSOURCES and the verified thing is discussed here Talk:Silsila_Badalte_Rishton_Ka#About_reference_(iwmbuzz.com). Your argument is just WP:OTHERSTUFF if you will not cite sources it will be considered as Original research and What is present on other articles cannot justify that. We only work according to Sources, guidelines and community consensus, Other stuff is often wrong, look at the guidelines mentioned to you previously and the best examples to compare with are Wikipedia:Good articles. AfroCine: Join the Months of African Cinema this October!

Greetings!

After a successful first iteration of the “Months of African Cinema” last year, we are happy to announce that it will be happening again this year, starting from October 1! In the 2018 edition of the contest, about 600 Wikipedia articles were created in at least 8 languages. There were also contributions to Wikidata and Wikimedia commons, which brought the total number of wikimedia pages created during the contest to over 1,000.

The AfroCine Project welcomes you to October, the first out of the two months which have been dedicated to creating and improving content that centre around the cinema of Africa, the Caribbean, and the diaspora. Join us in this global edit-a-thon, by helping to create or expand articles which are connected to this scope. Also remember to list your name under the participants section.

On English Wikipedia, we would be recognizing participants in the following manner:

  • Overall winner (1st, 2nd, 3rd places)
  • Diversity winner
  • Gender-gap fillers

For further information about the contest, the recognition categories and how to participate, please visit the contest page here. For further inquiries, please leave comments on the contest talkpage or on the main project talkpage. See you around :).--Jamie Tubers (talk) 00:50, 30 September 2019 (UTC)

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Thank you. I'm not sure how to address this further. Edits were made by myself and another user to trim excessiveness in response to other editor's concerns. However, it seems the other individual believes it is some sort of conspiracy to change the portrayal of Bruce Lee specifically at least from how I read what he's wrote. He doesn't seem to understand what's going on or respond very well to logic IMO. I've attempted to stop him from reverting edits by another editor in response to the concerns but he seems to think it's all about me trying to push a narrative. I will certainly stop edit warring but I would like your feedback on how to best move forward with this. Samurai Kung fu Cowboy (talk) 03:06, 30 September 2019 (UTC)

@Samurai Kung fu Cowboy: Please do not revert the user's edit until the matter is solved as you could be blocked for doing this. Please invite other users on the discussion you started on the OUTIH talk page to discuss this issue. --Sid95Q (talk) 03:10, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
Thank you. I have. If you could please chime in it may be useful. Samurai Kung fu Cowboy (talk) 03:14, 30 September 2019 (UTC)

Hi Sid, re: this edit, you might want to know about MOS:FILM#Trivia, which seems to accept trivia sections in newish articles. That said, I don't question your change, but thought you should know that there are slightly different rules for films. Also, re: the conversation above with Swapnil, they are right to say that you can use a primary source, the film/TV show itself, as a source of uncontroversial information, like plot, cast and crew. Regards, 03:01, 1 November 2019 (UTC)

Thank you @Cyphoidbomb: for the information, it says "these items should be either moved to other sections of the article—preferably written using prose, not bullet points or lists—or removed entirely." which I did by moving it to the box office section and regarding Swapnil edits. the user is not adding any reference to edits which makes it original research, despite several requests no reference has been provided for the edits on respective pages.

Raising the Bar (film)

Why are you removing information about other awards under the banner of removing the Dada Saheb awards? You broke the references with your first edit, and your second one deleted the Melbourne City Independent Film Awards. If you want to remove information about "fake" Dada Saheb awards, remove that information only. I have reverted you. Black Kite (talk) 20:26, 1 November 2019 (UTC)

@Black Kite: As per WP:FILMCRITICLIST Awards included in lists should have a Wikipedia article to demonstrate notability. Because of the proliferation of film festivals and "award mills", festival awards should be added with discretion, with inclusion subject to consensus. Awards bestowed by web-only entities are not included. I mentioned it in my 1 November edit which you reverted by saying Neither of those links justify the removal of an entire section , but the reason is mentioned in WP:FILMCRITICLIST --Sid95Q (talk) 20:28, 1 November 2019 (UTC)
So why are you removing prose as well? I've restored that, at least. Black Kite (talk) 20:39, 1 November 2019 (UTC)
@Black Kite: Melbourne City Independent Film Awards 2018 is supported by a primary source which does not help in establishing the notability of the award, a reliable independent source is required to establish the festival's notability. --Sid95Q (talk) 20:45, 1 November 2019 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) At least two of these have the aroma of being award mills. The Melbourne City one looks like it may only be a year old. The Ethan Saylor one looks like it only existed in 2017. The Maryland one looks like they've been around for about 8 years, but the festival is in sleepy Hagerstown, which has a population of 40,000. So, basically a small-town festival award. Most of the references to it at Google News come from The Herald-Mail a relatively small-time publication. I would be slightly less inclined to delete that award, but it doesn't appear to be a notable award. But certainly more notable than the other two, for whatever that's worth. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:12, 1 November 2019 (UTC)

Disney International HD

Does the channel air animated content or not? I’ve found no official sources (Facebook and Twitter pages for the channel as well as their official website only mention the live action content) so it could explain this - are all those videos I see of Pokémon on the channel fake or not? Disambiguation link notification for December 11

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of American superhero films, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Alan Taylor and Soft reboot (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:54, 11 December 2019 (UTC)

Why you added again and again Unaired shows like Digimon on Marvel HQ, and you gave me warning. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ShadaB boy (talkcontribs) 14:18, January 8, 2020 (UTC)

@ShadaB boy: Please read the explanation I left on your talk page and all the other messages which you removed from your Talk page Carefully. Warm Regards. =Sid95Q (talk) 19:37, 8 January 2020 (UTC)
Sid95Q, Yeah, I saw the talk page history. Their message doesn't have a lot of context, but I'm guessing this edit is one that they are referencing, and as you've mentioned to them, they are adding something without a source (and removing shows WITH a source!). That's not good. Just as an aside, I wouldn't have called that vandalism, they were trying to improve the article, but I would have called it disruptive and warned them for either disruptive edits or making unsourced edits. Ravensfire (talk) 19:53, 8 January 2020 (UTC)
@Ravensfire: They are explicit enough for the user to understand the situation. I was also going to warn the user for that only but the user was warned several times before for the same behavior on different pages and removing messages means that user has read the message and it becomes vandalism if the behavior is same even after that. =Sid95Q (talk) 20:28, 8 January 2020 (UTC)

Another round of anti-Indics?

Hey Sid! Just a few minutes ago I noticed a complaint about Naagin on some drama forum and went to check it out. I forgot what the complaint was about but I noticed that the Indic script from it is gone? Whatever, I thought. I don't really edit serials, but then I remembered Chhoti Anandi. "Is it gone from there too?" I thought. It is really gone. And it looks like it was removed by [you https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:MobileDiff/915910619]. I thought we had a consensus on retaining Indic when the show is clearly in one language with the title card being in that language only? Has that changed? Please explain. TryKid (talk) 18:27, 1 January 2020 (UTC)

Happy New Year, btw! Sorry for not being a little early! TryKid (talk) 18:46, 1 January 2020 (UTC)

Hi @TryKid: Sorry for a late reply. I would suggest you to take this matter here Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Film/Indian cinema task force with the previous discussion as the matter is far more complicated than it looks. Warm Regards. Sid95Q (talk) 18:00, 18 January 2020 (UTC)

Edit war

Hi. User @Krish990 is edit warring Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke television series since a long time stating Kaveri Priyam and Rithvik Arora also as main leads along with Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma while they originally play pivotal role as stated by many reliable sources while the sources he uses to prove his point are non reliable ones. Despite discussing in talk page Talk:Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke with reliable sources as a proof for it, he is just editing back again and again, being stubborn in his point itself stating the former two also as lead of the series. Despite him being blocked for some time by you earlier, it again continues. Can you help in this matter? Noobie anonymous (talk) 12:56, 13 February 2020 (UTC)

This page is needed to be updated about his media image ,awards ,personal life and other thing but instead of this you are removing some information. Princepratap1234 (talk) 13:45, 17 March 2020 (UTC)

@Princepratap1234: Wikipedia works on some policies. Please check Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS and as Ravensfire said you MUST have reliable secondary sources to support everything and avoid any promotional tone. Awards need to be notable, not just some marketing fluff, which often means there should be a Wikipedia article on the award. Sid95Q (talk) 13:55, 17 March 2020 (UTC)

I added different section for special appearances which is available in everyone's wiki page and all small appearances are available there then why you are removing it from particular page. Princepratap1234 (talk) 08:05, 18 March 2020 (UTC)

@Princepratap1234: Please Use Cyphoidbomb's talk page for this discussion as it's better to discuss things at once place at a time. Warm Regards. Sid95Q (talk) 08:07, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
Sid95Q, might I suggest you self-revert your last edit on the page? You are past 3RR and there's some discussion, but not much. I'd hate to see you get blocked over something like this when you know others will revert Princepratap1234 changes for the reasons you and Cyphoidbomb have raised. BTW - really should be getting a discussion on the article talk page... Ravensfire (talk) 14:46, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
Okay, so folks, PLEASE move this to the article talk page where it belongs? Please? And no more reverts over this madness, WP:BRD exists for a reason and calm discussion is the only way Wikipedia works. Ravensfire (talk) 14:54, 18 March 2020 (UTC)

Hi @Fylindfotberserk: Hope you are doing well. I think there were some last minute changes [1] that's why we don't have an established third party reliable source right now.
