Interesting new articles. Usually what I do, is hit the "show preview" button, multiple times as I work on creating/writing new articles, and I don't hit "save page", to actually create the article, until I have added (10) or so citations from reputable sources. To each her own, but this might help keep away those pesky speedy delete tags that I saw you had issues with, above.
