Welcome!

edit

Hello, Sheenhx, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself. Writing about yourself is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians.

As this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. We require individuals to meet Wikipedia's definition of a notable person to accept articles about them. A page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to or change it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Heya, You don't need to ask 3 times, we're all volunteers so it might take some time for a response. Use the {{Admin help}} template, and an admin will be here to help. Zippybonzo | talk | contribs (they/them) 11:54, 30 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Please copy the deleted Sheen Huth to my page thx Sheenhx (talk) 12:22, 30 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
There's no need for this request. You've made the same request to the deleting administrator, Jimfbleak, who has said he will take care of it tomorrow.--Bbb23 (talk) 13:42, 30 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

You have an obvious conflict of interest, please don't write about yourself, your friends or relatives and read the guidance below:

  • When you write about a person, you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that they meet the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the person or an associated organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the person claims or interviewing them. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls.
  • several of your sources are unacceptable. Twitter, crunchbase and xcom are junk, several of your other sources are clearly not independent third-party sources, such as Moonchain. We don't want to know what he or his companies say about him, we need proper references. Also, sources are supposed to support what you claim, but, for example, "have significantly advanced the capabilities of wireless communication systems" is sourced to a list of documents, can't see any mention of him, and it's an opinion anyway
  • You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
  • You wrote a fan page, not an encyclopaedia article, full of opinions in place of facts accomplished innovator... holding multiple patents... His academic contributions are equally notable... prestigious journals... has gained recognition... groundbreaking designs... novel antenna patterns, which have significantly advanced the capabilities of wireless communication systems... globally renowned and so on...
  • There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.
I didn't check

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. I'm prepared to restore in principle, but you need to assure me that you can't find proper sources and write neutrally. I'll check back tomorrow Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:17, 30 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Moonchain

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Moonchain, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.   Hello, I'm DoubleGrazing. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:39, 1 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Sheenhx, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Eonede (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 18:32, 18 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hey, this is not true, I don't know him and Moonchain is a well-known brand, why you leave this kind of message on my page??? Sheenhx (talk) 19:29, 18 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

hey I need some help here, the guy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:DoubleGrazing left a weird message on my page and saying I use multiple account, this is totally not true! Sheenhx (talk) 19:31, 18 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Okay. It's not true. What is the admin action you want? 331dot (talk) 20:21, 18 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
It isn't at all clear what help you wish to receive, nor is it obvious that there is any problem. There are some similarities between your editing and that of the other account mentioned, which evidently led DoubleGrazing to think there might be a connection between the two accounts. In some circumstances using more than one account can be problematic, so DoubleGrazing posted a message to you warning you that there might be problems. In that message they said "Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia" and "If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person". You may be, or you may not be; if you are then letting you know of potential problems stands to possibly help you avoid such problems, whereas if you aren't then this doesn't apply to you, so there's no need to concern yourself about it. Thanks for uploading File:2019 Berlin TWT Summit.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
