 Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Question

edit

Did you make this edit?[1] Editors in the past have logged out of their account or switched account, to make certain edits. I find that edit very suspicious as that IP user's first edit, is similar to your previous edit. I know you know, there is a way to know, whether your account is related to that IP user. Hotwiki (talk) 18:53, 24 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I made that edit because I was logged out. When I wanted to correct a mistake that's where I realised I wasn't logged in, so I logged in before making another edit. Sewnbegun (talk) 04:39, 25 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Oh. You didn't correct a mistake though. An unreferenced edit doesn't automatically mean its, a false information. I don't have time yet, to get my comics in my storage and if I do, you would find out the information you removed, are indeed correct. Don't worry, as soon as I collect those references, the information you removed will be restored. Hotwiki (talk) 14:04, 28 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

User:Ringardiumleviossa

edit

Are you User:Ringardiumleviossa? - the recent blocked editor for sockpuppetry, who was making dozens of edits in List of X-Men members before he was blocked. Is it just a coincidence that your account was created right after he was banned and then you made a dozen of changes in List of X-Men members. I find this really suspicious. Hotwiki (talk) 14:01, 28 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

If you can see my questions in teahouse you will know I am here on Wikipedia for editing various list regarding comics. I do not believe in coincidence, also I am not the mentioned blocked user because you can clearly see I had edited from my IP address (I can not do it if my IP address was blocked) by mistake which I also admitted above and on Talk: List of X-Men members. Sewnbegun (talk) 15:20, 28 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Well I hope you don't mind when I ask the administrators for an IP check - to see if you have nothing to do with that blocked editor. Hotwiki (talk) 15:33, 28 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, I don't mind. Sewnbegun (talk) 15:36, 28 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

February 2024

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that in this edit to Avengers (comics), you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 07:44, 29 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Materialscientist, it was not a mistake. I only removed this [2] because I realised the correct page I wanted to add this information was The Avengers (comic book)(more suitable because the information was of main character of comic books). Instead I had added them to the group's page so I transferred the information, that's all. I am new but it will not happen again as I will keep explanining in edit summary afterwards. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of X-Men members, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page CBR. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 18:07, 2 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring

edit

  Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at List of X-Men members, you may be blocked from editing. Hotwiki (talk) 06:32, 25 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Read my reply again! Thank you! Sewnbegun (talk) 06:36, 25 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
But my last edit is not disruptive at all on the basis of the points I have put there, concreted by teahouse opinion. Anyways I have requested a request for comment. Sewnbegun (talk) 06:45, 25 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Final warning

edit

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at List of X-Men members. Hotwiki (talk) 16:18, 25 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Your next revert will be reported to the administrators, including my suspicion of you being connected to the blocked editor User:Ringardiumleviossa and those Ip users. Hotwiki (talk) 16:19, 25 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
