GE Renewable Energy

edit

Mr Langford, welcome again, and thank you for being open about your interest. I have read what you wrote at Talk:GE Renewable Energy, and will reply tomorrow - I am out of time tonight. In the meantime, you could read the Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 20:17, 13 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Advice

edit

I suggest that the best way to proceed would be for you to write a note on the talk page of GE Wind Energy explaining that it is now part of GE Renewable Energy, proposing words to add to the article to bring it up to date in that respect, and requesting that it should be moved (i.e. its name changed) to GE Renewable Energy. The move would leave behind a redirect so that anyone searching for the old title would find the new one.

Do that in a new section on Talk:GE Wind Energy (by clicking "Edit source" and then "New section"), and at the head of the section, before your text, put {{Request edit}}. That will put it in a queue for attention.

It would also be useful to put on your user page User:Sehlangford the paid-editing declaration {{paid|employer=GE Renewable Energy}}. Copy that as it appears on this page, without the "nowiki" and "tt" tags that appear on the edit screen. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 22:05, 14 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
