Oasis

Why remove alternative rock from the infobox? As far as I know it's always been there, and was only removed a couple of days ago by a guy named Mad Hatter, who doesn't seem to have a clue about music? Oasis have always been known as an alternative band, so I don't see the reasoning behind removing it. But I'm not a huge enough fan to "defend" the page anyway, so i won't revert it again after my latest revert.

Also, WTF? 124.186.94.132 (talk) 10:00, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

Welcome home

Good trip? While you were away several "editors" found there way out from under several bridges :D . And I made Navlos cry because I gave him a Wiki-reality check in the form of an 'editor-critique'. He'll get over it. He went straight back into his bad habits so he must be doing OK :D. How was the continent? Did you tip a stein or 2 whilst away? Libs (talk) 12:33, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

So... now that you're home.... relax... have a java... read some emails... suck on a fag or 2.... and... when you have time... throw a semi_P on the Ted Nugent article would ya. There is an IP that's drifting in who doesn't agree with the Mighty Motor City Madman's views (even though they're cited). Or perhaps is a Teddy fan who doesn't want some of his more extreme views aired on Wiki who knows? I am a huge Nuge fan. But that doesn't mean I agree with every thing he says. I don't disagree with everything he says either... but if it's referenced... it shouldn't be censored from Wiki regardless of whether it's negative or positive. Air all the dirty laundry I say! I am doing it again :-D. Libs (talk) 23:14, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

While I have your attention part deux. IP 68.102.235.239??? Didn't you block another 68.102.X IP genre troll before. the edit summaries from this one look VERY familiar bit it has an empty block log. Also this one uses talk pages now and then. Ignores what is said on them.... but at least uses them. But I am sure you put the concrete slippers on a 68.102 IP before??? Libs (talk) 00:14, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
Hi Scarian and welcome back. I see you ignored my comments. Even if it might not make a difference to you, it does to me; fairness is fairness; thanks. Itzse (talk) 20:40, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
Hi Scarian; I do understand you, but I would like you to understand me too. I have a crystal clean record on Wikipedia with about 3000 edits; and I went into extreme detail, wasted a lot of time doing it, and provided clear diffs; showing that although at first glance it might seem that 3RR took place on my part, but looking more closely at the three issues edited will shown that I did not. Therefore it does make a big difference to me even if it's stale. The old records here are fresher then ever, and I waited patiently for your return. Is there a way to undo a block retroactively? Thanks for your understanding. Itzse (talk) 20:57, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

Query

Are you an admin open to recall? --Folantin (talk) 22:13, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

This is what I posted on WP:ANI this morning. It's addressed to the admins corps in general but you in particular:

There are 1500 of you. You had eight hours for one of you to do something about this. You have failed to enforce basic policies WP:V and WP:RS. The content I added was referenced to reliable sources. The content Kuban Kazak added was mostly unsourced and demonstrably falsified in at least one instance. I did the research (including reading Russian) to prove this and presented the evidence here. Nothing happened. I was then blocked for reinstating referenced material. I had no warning and the blocking admin couldn't even be bothered to do the most basic research into the issue or distinguish between me, a user in good faith with over 10,000 edits and a clean block log, and a user with a reputation for agenda-driven editing. I've spent a good deal of my time checking up on sources - I busted a hoax article on Illyrian mythology written by an Albanian nationalist which had been allowed to remain unchallenged on Wikipedia for two whole years [1]. In return, I expect to see admin support for such efforts to ensure content is reliable. If you admins can't enforce core policies then we might as well all go home now.

I think you owe me some kind of apology. --Folantin (talk) 19:45, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

Ronz

Sorry for the confusion at the Ronz talkpage! I could have worded my comment more clearly, such as to say, "aside from your actions at Levine2112's talkpage, which Scarian has already cautioned you about, I am also concerned about your actions at Talk:Quackwatch." I agree, on a first glance, it looks like I was warning him about something you'd already handled! Please accept my apologies for any miscommunication, Elonka 15:47, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

Just as a heads-up, I topic-banned Ronz for one week, because of some shenanigans at Talk:Quackwatch. For example, I asked him to refactor comments where he was calling Levine2112 a troll, and he just did this kind of thing.[3] So I have now instructed Ronz to avoid all homeopathy-related articles and talkpages for one week. If you see him violating the ban, you are welcome to impose any blocks as you see fit. Thanks, Elonka 18:35, 6 July 2008 (UTC)

DJ Clay

Re: the speedy deletion of this article. I don't know much about DJ Clay, and have no real interest in the subject, but I removed the speedy tag because he has two commercially released albums to his name (albeit 'mix' albums), the article stated that he had toured, and he has had an interview broadcast on Rotten Radio (WBLQ). This may not be enough to save the article at AFD, but it should be plenty to save it from speedy deletion. I think the article should really be restored and taken to AFD. Thanks.--Michig (talk) 12:42, 6 July 2008 (UTC)

Wrong block template?

Hello. It appears that you are using the wrong block template on User talk:Mizbiplob, as the {{uw-block3}} template is only for indefinite blocks. Or at least I presume you are using the wrong template as the block log shows you blocked Mizbiplob (talk · contribs · block log) for 24 hours on the 2nd and for 48 hours on the 6th ... but the talk page messages you left on both occasions ([4], [5]) say "you have been blocked indefinitely." --Kralizec! The community has decided that the Boogie rock page is worth keeping based on recent article improvements. your block of User:Dbachmann

Scarian, could you explain this a bit more? The 3RR report is terribly formatted (consecutive edits are presented as separate reverts), and I'm not sure I see a 3RR in there; I see active editing. On the other hand, if Dbachmann has broken the 3RR it looks like other editors may have as well. --Akhilleus (talk) 16:11, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

Scarian, all has been said already and over a thousand times. Good action! I'll look for some kind of Hero Star decoration. Rokus01 (talk) 16:16, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

I just looked at this myself, but see Akhilleus is ahead of me. I agree with him, either he hasn't (which I think is the case from a quick look) or others have. As for Sindhian, see for instance [6]. I would take any report from him with several grains of salt. Doug Weller (talk) 16:21, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

Scarian, you're proved to be truly a impartial admin. The blocked admin made edit wars, so even if he did not technically violate 3RR, he is blocked for edit warring just so many editor are blocked without 3RR violation.--Caspian blue (talk) 16:28, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
If Dab has edit warred, so have others. First Folantin, now Dab. Doug Weller (talk) 16:39, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
Then block the other(s) if somebody/they were in the same vein. But the history of the article shows that DB made edit wars with several people, which means he did not seem to regard a consensus. Besides, he did not fight against vandalism. Moreover he appeals a unblocking request to his power as admin. That is not fair. Admins should hold higher standards than editors and can't skip Wiki rules.--Caspian blue (talk) 17:04, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
Two other editors have reviewed the 3RR report and disagree that a 3RR violation has occured. Can you drop by DAB's page, review the summary and if you agree that a 3RR violation has not occured, unblock DAB? Chrislk02 Chris Kreider 16:59, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

If you've got a problem with some of my judgements Caspian and Doug, why don't you come by and help at 3RRN? It's tough being the only regular admin there. Mistakes are bound to be made. Just don't jump on my back when I make them. Thanks. ScarianCall me Pat! 17:08, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

Oh, I don't have any problem with your blocking DB. I'm very impressed by your fairness yesterday and today.--Caspian blue (talk) 17:13, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
I sympathise if you are on your own, that really is very bad and suggests things are a bit broken. I'm sorry if I've looked as though I'm jumping on your back, but before the 3RR I'd been looking at what was happening on the talk page where Sindhian is trying to impose one POV on the article, and it isn't nice. And I'd forgotten you were the Admin involved with Folantin. Doug Weller (talk) 18:09, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
What Doug says. "I sympathise if you are on your own". If you had told me that I would have understood and wouldn't have got on your case. "that really is very bad and suggests things are a bit broken". Yep, looks like we have a system failure. --Folantin (talk) 19:05, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

WP:HAU, Status, and you!

As you may know, the StatusBot responsible for maintaining the status of the Highly Active Users was taken offline. We now have a replacement in the Qui status system. This semi-automatic system will allow you to easily update your status page found at Special:Mypage/Status which the HAU page code is now designed to read from. If you are already using Qui (or a compatible system) - great! - no action is needed (other than remembering to update your status as necessary). If not, consider installing Qui. You can also manually update this status by changing the page text to online, offline, or busy. While it is not mandatory, the nature of HAU is that people are often seeking a quick answer from someone who is online and keeping our statuses up-to-date will assist with this. Note if you were previously using your /Status page as something other than a one-word status indicator, your HAU entry may have been set to "status=n" to correct display issues. Please clear this parameter if you change things to be "HAU compatible". Further questions can be raised at WT:HAU. This message was delivered by xenobot 23:09, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

Got a good one for ya!

The other day I did a "bad grammar" rv here. Turns out a very 'non-english' editor has some ownership issues with the article and preferred the bad version which Anger22 reverted again and then opened a dialogue with the editor to try and get him to see where the problem was. The editor does not have very good English skills and took Anger's description of the page "horrible" : ) as a direct insult to him. I've read the article and the description is correct.... it is horrible. BUT.... and it's a big BUT too.... Mr MusicLover guy relied about the article on the article talk page here He says things like "entirely written by me"... and "as well as the John Norum biography in my website www.whatever...etc" Anyways I went to Mr MusicLove's website and guess what??? like you can't predict what's coming next :D TOTAL copyvio cut and paste of the text from the website into the Wikipedia article. Once you get past the lead-in in the John Norum page... the whole thing is just a copy of buddy's website. The discography is OK. The "Bibliography" is bunk spam links and book ads. The last 2 sections are in the wrong order..... this article needs a good wash. Do you want to be the "heavy" on the pasted text? I don't want to tag the page as copyvio because the whole thing will get deleted. The lead-in, discography, See also, Refs and Ex links sections are workable. The rest needs an administrator with a heavy hammer. Do you know such an admin? I can almost predict that today is going to be "one of those Wiki-days" :D Libs (talk) 14:15, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

John Norum article

You've removed a whole article BEFORE starting a discussion about it. I don't think that's legal. I'm the administrator of the website that contains SOME of the parts that you could find there about John Norum's biography, so I will give the authorization to use that content as soon as I'll know exactly how to do it. Now the question is: If I've published a biography in a dedicated website, can't I use some of that content to write an article here?? --MusicIsMyLove 16:17, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

Neutral view is still there, no personal view anywhere

I don't know WTF you're talking about. Non-neutral point of view? MY view isn't ANYWHERE on those glam metal lists!!! How the hell is a list that wasn't even created by me my personal view (and I didn't even edit 2 out of 3 of them that much, and the one I edited a lot was rubbish and even longer than the current one)!? And who's view could it possibly be?

Those album lists are completly fine. Look at any genre page. Sure, most don't have lists (many of them should, though), but all of them do mention several albums being MORE INFLUENCIAL THAN OTHERS to the genre as well as ones that are "critically acclaimed as one of the greatest or worst". Lists stating influencial have NOTHING TO DO with anybody's view. An album is influencial or "important" regardless of who says so, it all depends on the critical acclaim, the bands and music scenes that are influenced by it, and how many times it's mentioned by bands that are influenced by it. What's somebody's view is how much to include in a list or something like that (and it shouldn't be very long, according to the MOS). A person is effing retarded if they think that it's a person's "personal view" that Metallica's Master of Puppets is very influencial to heavy metal. On top of all that, those lists weren't even completely for stating what's influencial- they were largely there as EXAMPLES of the first wave, second wave, and post-classic era styles of glam metal. In addition, the first two lists were just fine in fitting those two criterias, and the third list (which was the only one you deleted at first) was created recently and still being revised. Just because they need to be fixed doesn't mean you edit them out. Lastly, "examples are needed" isn't something I originally came up with- it was there since 2005.

BTW, I assume you're referring to "disruptive edits" as multiple issues, which would the BS view thing and the redlink issue, as you posted in that section of my talk page. JD and I mostly cleared up the issue, and it's concluded that I wasn't disruptive. I recently sent him a message using the WP:Redlink and WP:WTAF pages proving that I was ok on the issue. In other words, I didn't make many disruptive edits over multiple issues at the time you warned me.

I'm suprised somebody large and cool like you would be so ignorant on the subject you're talking about. Angry Shoplifter (talk) 00:12, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

Read the above before sending another warning or doing anything else. Anyways, "Tidy up for consistancy" in the Gary Numan albums (aswell as a few other articles if that's all I state, in which I usually state more), are well, a tidy ups, and you have to admit that I helped fix those A LOT. On one subject, I violated WP:Album on 2-3 of the articles, as I was being stupid there, but stop making those errors or two override the rest of good contributions I made to the albums!!! They were originally in a crappy state, unorganized, INCONSISTANT WITH EACH OTHER, had incorrect links, incorrect genres and opening paragraphs, had contradictions, and they needed some red links for 3 certain things (labels, singles, and band personnel, especially the first two) when articles are eventually created for those (and that they're linked on other albums). Improving all those issues is HELPING Wikipedia and abbides to the rules.
Speaking of the redlinks, as stated earlier, JD554 and I discussed the link issue and it was concluded that the redlinking I was doing was helpful and follows WP:Redlink and WP:WTAF. Besides, another thing that you clearly forget is that some things on those articles were ALREADY in violation of WP:Album, so don't blame it on me (an example is that when genres were already linebreaked, all I did was just delete the incorrect ones, add correct ones, and change the order, not make them spaced when they're already comma'd. 3 of the articles I was being stupid on this, though). So, if I do those stupid errors again (genre linebreaking when there's commas (as opposed to when they're already there), or linking to non-specific day dates) it might result in a block, but anything else I've been doing should NOT result in a block, since I didn't violate anything besides the two I mentioned. Angry Shoplifter (talk) 00:15, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

Didn't I tell you...

Remember what I said about purposely ignoring the rules even though they've been pointed out to him several times. I think he has another page that requires some content. He's earned it with edits like that. Libs (talk) 01:04, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

And another one. Useless. Only reason was to ignore the wp:album consensus that he hates. Frustrating. Libs (talk) 08:44, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
Restoring consensus???? There is no consensus it is a two sided debate with another editor and his "consensus" is his vocal "pov" just to continue on with his very uncivil edit war over red links (which as you and I both know... red links based on AGF that someone wil make an article out of them... are perpetual useless red links). Some of those recent edits also included a few "WP:ALBUM doesn't exist" changes but he seems to have reversed those (I have double checked them all). He should take a Wiki-break to sort out his wiki-issues.
I am still struggling to find anything that supports yesterdays semi-prot and, like you, still very uncomfortable with the whole BLP issue involved over the harsh accusations. The book ref is legit. But as for the contents of that book ????, I have no idea. If I can't find anything in the next 2 days I'd say throw caution to the BLP winds and remove the damning statement. Do you concur? I can't really make a block right now. If does continue to not understand our policies then I can get someone else to make a block for me (As I am "involved" with him to some degree already).
I do also concur with the removal of the statement. Google searches have turned up nothing. Which means the author may have fabricated it or have got it from unreliable sources. I think for statements like that we need at least 2 reliable (with at least 1 one of them being online) sources. ScarianCall me Pat! 20:49, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

Anticipating problems

Hi Scarian; as you were the one who took care of it last time, I'm coming to you for help. I'm again having problems with Tirpse who insists on his edits, and doesn't answer why his edits should stay. The article is a controversial one and it needs extra care to comply with "NPOV" and "no OR". I do not want to edit war, but I'm afraid that when he sits down again at his computer he will ignore my comments, revert my edits and call me names, and don't know how to deal with an editor that first reverts then talks. Please give me advice on how to proceed. Thank You. Itzse (talk) 18:16, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

George Thomas Coker

I saw the discussion on the said article. It appears as though consensus is against you on the issue at hand and you're continuing to make an argument which violates WP:POINT. It is recommended that either a) You drop the issue entirely and just move on or b) You provide groundbreaking evidence that contradicts two well respected editors' opinions. If you continue to violate POINT by halting the process which is progressing against your opinion then you may be blocked. Please remember this and also be reminded of the ArbCom sanctions still in place against yourself of assuming bad faith against other contributors. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. ScarianCall me Pat! 14:17, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

  • Sources, especially reliable ones, are a bedrock requirement of Wikipedia. The material on Coker's military decorations had been in the article for months without any sources. In attempting to address serious problems with the quality (and in many cases, complete absence) of sources, thorough research found no source to support the claim that Coker received the Distinguished Flying Cross. After repeated requests, and responses insisting that the material need not be sourced, an unreliable source was added. The source is a website maintained by a private individual and has no independent corroboration from any published source as to the underlying derivation of the lists maintained by this person's personal site. I have not removed the claim, I have only questioned the reliability of the poor quality source used to support it. It appears extremely difficult to understand your insistence that a request for one reliable source -- a book, magazine or newspaper, anything -- to support a claim for a major military decoration is a violation of WP:POINT. Plan and simple, Wikipedia requires sources. All that's needed to solve the problem is one reliable and verifiable source and none has been provided. If you have any further questions, please fell free to contact me. Alansohn (talk) 14:32, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Re: what you saw

Thanks for your comments. Just to be clear for a moment, when I originally casted my oppose at Ed's RfA, I wasn't even aware of the fact that he had blocked my account for three days, so no retaliation or conflict of interest. That's not my way. I appreciate that somebody else thought those actions were unjustifiable and untenable. And, now that I'm indefinitely blocked from Conservapedia, I'd be inclined to change my vote to Strong Oppose, but 1.)That's not my way as outline above and 2.)Wouldn't make a difference now either way. Cheers mate! Wisdom89 (T / C) 16:46, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Editor review and general comments

Hello, thanks for your comments on my review page, I was beginning to think I'd been overlooked! But on a serious note, I'm glad that you thought my comments at the RfA were ok, that's only the second one I've participated in - my !vote probably wasn't needed, but I felt quite strongly about this one. With regard to the points you raised, I am extremely glad for these pointers - I've been kind of floating around without a purpose for most of my wiki-life hence the lack of article-buiding, but I've found my language skills might be my point of focus on here - I've been enjoying the translation I've been doing. With regards to Huggle,I did go a bit overboard a week or so ago... it's quite hypnotising when you first use it!
And as for the admin question... the thought has crossed my mind, and it's certainly a possibility in a few months. I wanted to get this review as a way to judge what others thought of my demeanour, the way I dealt with things in general, as a sounding board for myself, to see if I was even the right material - as naturally it's hard to make a balanced, unbiased judgement of yourself. But anyway, it's certainly not happening soon, as I don't feel myself that I'm familiar with policies, guidelines etc. yet - and also the spread of my edits, quantity, type, I'm certainly aware that I would never come near to passing an RfA at the moment. So thanks for taking the time to review me, and I welcome all the feedback you have got! - Toon05 23:56, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Hi, just thought I'd follow up about the review - I hope that I didn't scare you away with the novel I wrote above! - Toon05 21:09, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
No worries, just thought I'd better check I hadn't accidentally sworn at you in a typo ;) - Toon05 21:33, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
Thanks Pat! Some great feedback there, pointers and advice which I will certainly take heed of. Hopefully somewhere (a while) down the line you'll be able to nom me, it's nice to have a vote of confidence! - Toon05 15:59, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
I've been having a go at the old WP:AfC, and I have to say it's an excellent way to learn the notability guidelines... good call! - Toon05 19:49, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

Another Tarja Sock

User:StevenLSears appears to be yet another Tarja Lawless sock puppet. Making the same attempt to flood the Lucy Lawless and Renee O'Connor articles with the same images they have put on the Commons, replacing existing images.[7][8]. Made another bad attempt at a FAR for an article that clearly didn't meet any of the qualifications.[9]. Also same consistent bad grammar shown in an attempt to rewrite the Xena: Warrior Princess lead.[10] -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 00:11, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Just touching base to see if you were able to take a look at this. From his/her message on my talk page, he seems to be admitting to being another sock. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 15:39, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Black 'N Blue

Hello,

I made a boo boo with an image upload on Black 'N Blue at the bottom of the page. Pretty darn obvious.

I hope you can switch it. Thanks! Electric Japan (talk) 11:14, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

What have I done? I fixed the issue. Thanks, Electric Japan (talk) 10:00, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

Hi. I see you encountered this user some time ago on his talk page. I've been going over his edits, and frankly, it may be wise to simply do a global revert on his entire contribution history, as it contains a significant number of unsourced additions and glaring errors, so much so, that I wonder if he was making some of this stuff up. Let me know what your thoughts are on this subject. Viriditas (talk) 10:04, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

Huh?

Can I ask you something? What are you talking about? Electric Japan (talk) 10:12, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

Good to see the problem has been delt with. A misunderstanding. I hope it will not recur again. Phew! I follow with a discipline on here. Everyone must cooperate all together to make this site brilliant as it is. Electric Japan (talk) 11:03, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

A page needs your editing skills again

This page needs more content yet again. User has not learned anything from previous content additions. Has taken to the habit of changing Allmusic to allmusic now for some reason. Almost petty vandalism knowing fair well the link is a proper name? Anyhoos, when you're aboot some assistance would be bacon. :D Libs (talk) 12:02, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

Ignorant editors

Jmdd21 (talk · contribs).??? I don't know if this account is tied to the WP:ALBUM ignorant IP address but after you take care of the IP could you explain the rules to this user. I don't think this is an Angry Shoplifter sockpuppet. This one has his own independent series of ignorant blunders with album articles. "Funeral" won't like anyone messing with the Buckethead albums. Libs (talk) 17:08, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

Hey Pat

Thanks for the support regarding Naeril(sp), it's appreciated. While I'm don't want to be personally hurt by such actions, it still sucks. It's good to know there are editors out there who don't suck. Luckily, I run into those more than I do the other. Beam 19:16, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

Kurt

Hi. Thanks for your response. I appreciate your motives, which are transparently that you care for the good of the Project, but I'd really rather hear Kurt's view on this. And I'd rather hear his view responding to my suggestion, rather than your comment. In the interests of keeping things simple, would you mind reverting your reponse on his talk? I have no objections to you leaving it on mine, if you wish. Thanks in advance, I appreciate it. --Dweller (talk) 12:28, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

  • Just for the record, I totally agree with what you said Scarian, and every long drawn out WP:RFA/X candidate, WT:RFA, WP:AN, WP:AN/I, WP:RFC, WP/RFARB thread just feeds into it. Time to stop feeding and ignore. xeno (talk) 12:44, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Have you added the passage I deleted? Batio keeps contacting me asking me to get rid of it! Please remove it, I made a promise and this should not be written!! Andre666 (talk) 17:11, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Nope. Wiki Libs did that. Anyway, I don't believe you that Batio has been "contacting" you to remove it. A lot of people say those things. Haven't believed a single one of them ever. ScarianCall me Pat! 17:34, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Courtesy note: i'm looking over this block (and the halo around it) per a request on ANI. - brenneman 03:23, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

On the face of it this editor's gripe looks genuine: Three reverts are not an entitlement, the other party was aksed to use talk, the other party had recently been blocked for edit warring, etc. Your warning of User:Kuban kazak ("Erm... "2 reverts in 24 hours"? [1], [2], and [3]. Thanks.") was less fulsome than I'd normally make as well.
If there are additional circumstances I'd appreciate your comment, as the appearance of asymetry does exist.

Nirvana

Pat, I'm not disagreeing with you. I, too, agree that the commas were fine. I was simply trying to make Nirvana's infobox look consistent with other popular bands (e.g. Foo Fighters, The Cure, and Green Day to name a few). Plus, I think it looks better as a list with line breaks. Just compare the two versions side-by-side. What do you think? ŁittleÄlien¹8² (talk\contribs) 03:18, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Not a problem. I'm glad we were able to come to an agreement. ŁittleÄlien¹8² (talk\contribs) 07:49, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Need a user check

Is this guy a Huggle user? IF he is he just issued a false warning with it and the receiver of the bad faith warning will need a history flush of his chat history similar to what you've done for me when someone made a Huggle blunder. I don't see evidence that a vandal tool was used for a bad faith revert but with Huggle I can never tell. I issued a "be careful" warning to the foul-up'r about idduing false warning and also about adhering to Wikipedia consensus. My thought is that an apology should be forthcoming from him but its up to him to decide whether he wants to be a d*nk or not. How are you internet woes? Are you able to get a stable linkup. I've told you before... you're not allowed to leave Wiki :D . Libs (talk) 16:15, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

I need more coffee. I ranted for nothing. users revert was valid but the V warning was still in bad faith and against the wrong person. My own bad blunder for using pop-ups as a viewer. I should go back to editing as an IP so I won't have a tool again (did I just say that? :D ) Libs (talk) 16:28, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

McD's will kill you. :). I told the user that he could issue me a "You're a d*nk" barnstar. I am going to go chug a gallon of coffee now. :D Libs (talk) 16:35, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

While you're around can you give 89.251.40.224 a break. He still doesn't know what WP:ALBUM is. Also.... I think Navlos is IP socking as 68.63.157.181. Can't remember his locale??? That could be Angry Sh*itlicker too... can't tell them apart. Speaking of Angry Shopper... he is still edit warring with Wesley Dodds on the Depache Mode pages. He could use a break too. Libs (talk) 16:39, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Yes, a star wars fan :) I'm actually not a huggle user (didn't even know what huggle was 'til I just looked). I don't use any edit tools which is how I made the mistake, because I didn't read the lines parallel. That and I was miffed the the list got put back after I removed it the other day.... you make one mistake... ;) Thedarxide (talk) 16:41, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

re: warning removal

Thank you. I don't know anything about Huggle. I will assume it leaves my talk page history with some sort of black mark that taints my edits for all Huggle users. I have vandalproof access and it saves a list of users who've been warned and marks them as red in the editor tab. I appreciate you taking the effort to clean up after the error. Just to add. I was wondering if you edit guitar or guitarist related articles very often? If you do, or if you are a guitarist yourself, perhaps you would be interested in joining the WikiProject Guitarists. We are a group of editors dedicated to anything guitar (bass, banjo, mandolin, etc) related here on Wikipedia. Feel free to drop by our project page to find out more information. Got a problem

This guy keeps proposing an article to AfC and when it's declined, he simply comes back again. I count at least five proposals for the same article. I warned him, but I have a feeling that won't have any effect.
