Your AFC draft edit

Some examples of what I thought sounded promotional in your draft were things like "For those who prefer to keep their digital assets safe from hackers can store their TRX in a hardware wallet." (the "For those who" part sounds a bit advertise-y) and perhaps you could not give so much weight to comparing it with the others. SemiHypercube 19:57, 25 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

October 2018 edit

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Tron, TRX, from its old location at User:SaviiDigital/Tron, TRX. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Sam Sailor 07:51, 26 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Sanctions on Cryptocurrency articles edit

Please read this notification carefully, it contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

A community decision has authorised the use of general sanctions for pages related to the blockchain and cryptocurrencies. The details of these sanctions are described here. All pages that are broadly related to these topics are subject to a one revert per twenty-four hours restriction, as described here.

General sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after he or she has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. This notification is meant to inform you that sanctions are authorised in these topic areas, which you have been editing. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Cryptocurrency sources edit

News sources focused solely on cryptocurrency are not suitable for Wikipedia due to long term issues with unreliability and undisclosed promotion. This includes Cointelegraph and every other similar publication. These should not ever be used as sources. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 17:20, 26 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Tron, TRX edit

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. A page you recently created, Tron, TRX, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it has been moved to Draft:Tron, TRX where you can continue to work on it. Please consider using the Article Wizard or the Articles for Creation procedure. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read "Your first article". You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Sam Sailor 08:41, 1 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 16:29, 2 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

SaviiDigital as a company is all about educating people about what cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies are, they have numerous educational books, a free podcast, and a radio and a news site to explain and introduce these topics. This account has been used only by one person and the unfortunate username is due to the lack of imagination from my part. My intent was to get valuable experience in writing about blockchain technologies so I could get to add an additional skill to my CV. Am I hopeless as a writer/contributor or are my interests that are not ok for Wiki? SaviiDigital (talk) 05:07, 3 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

You have not suggested a new username as instructed in your block notice. Wikipedia is not concerned with helping you improve your CV or resume. Edits must be related to improving this encyclopedia. You also aren't clear on your association with this company, which would violate WP:COI and WP:PAID. I think that being unblocked will require you to agree to not edit about cryptocurrency/blockchain, and stating what you will edit about instead. I must decline your request at this time. 331dot (talk) 08:08, 3 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
