Some friendly observations

edit

Hi Savage5656. It's seems you quite new to Wikipedia which mean you might not be very familiar with its various policies and guidelines. So, I thought I just make some friendly observations that I noticed about User:Savage5656/sandbox.

  1. Please do not copy-and-paste entire articles into your sandbox without properly attributing which article it is as explained in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia#Proper attribution. Wikipedia's licesing allows textual content found in its articles to be freely used, but proper attribution is required. So, if you want to work on an improvement to an article, and need to copy-and-paste parts of the article into your sandbox, just leave an edit sum saying where the content came from, except in the cases listed in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia#Where attribution is not needed. Wikipedia takes copyright very serious so even copying content from one article/page and adding it to another needs to be done carefully.
  2. Please do not add any non-free content/images to any of your user pages. There are basically two types of images found on Wikipedia and how they may be used depends upon their copyright licensing. You can determine how a file is licensed by clicking on the image and checking its page. Anything licensed as non-free content cannot be used on user pages or in user sandboxes per WP:NFCC#9 and WP:UP#Non-free files. Just simply remove the file, link it or hide it before saving the content in your sandbox.
  3. Please do not enable categories reserved for articles on your user pages as explained in WP:USERNOCAT. Like above with the non-free images, you can remove, link, or hide the categories before saving the content in your sandbox.

If you have any general questions about editing, please feel free to ask them at the Wikipedia Teahouse. You can find a link in the welcome message posted above. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:29, 22 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm OcarinaOfTime. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Sesame Street Together Book— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. OcarinaOfTime (talk) 19:23, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Colin Kaepernick. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. theinstantmatrix (talk) 19:25, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Stone Wahl

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Stone Wahl requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.   You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Hobart High School (Indiana). John from Idegon (talk) 18:21, 24 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  -- ferret (talk) 18:51, 24 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
