Hi, thanks for the review! I will add some more references to the draft. There are other books that mention Frank Arjava Petter and his importance for research about the Reiki method. I am a little surprised that although he has published so many books on that subject, it doesn't seem to be so obvious that an article about him qualifies for Wikipedia. Maybe because Reiki itself is an alternative therapy? I hope that through adding some more references I can improve the article. SamuraiLatino (talk) 10:04, 20 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
In the Notability guidelines it says that it is required for a person to have "made a widely recognized contribution that is part of the enduring historical record in a specific field" - for Frank Arjava Petter, this is true in the field of the Reiki method.
As a creative professional, he has also created a body of work about his subject/field, published in several languages and that is widely quoted in his specific field. SamuraiLatino (talk) 10:29, 20 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi @DoubleGrazing! I resubmitted my draft now, I shortened it and added some new references. I hope you will find it improved! There are also already existing Wikipedia articles about Frank Arjava Petter for Wikipedia Netherlands and Germany, but unfortunately I don't know how to link them to this one. Thanks for your help! Alright. On a quick glance, I don't think the sources still establish notability, but I won't review this myself, I'll leave it for another reviewer; that way you get the benefit of a second opinion.
As for linking this to the de.wiki and nl.wiki articles, that's something that gets done through interlanguage links after the article has been published, therefore you needn't worry about that yet. Best, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:36, 17 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your quick reply! And also for granting the benefit of a second opinion! Best, SamuraiLatino (talk) 09:38, 17 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Your submission at Articles for creation: Frank Arjava Petter (November 13) edit

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by S0091 was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: Still most of the sources are primary or have close affiliation. Also note each Wikipedia language is their own project with their own policies and guidelines so an article acceptable at one may not be acceptable at another. The English Wikipedia is generally has more stringent policies and guidelines.
