Edson Aeros Junior A Hockey Club moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Edson Aeros Junior A Hockey Club, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that cannot be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. It may take some time for a user to review the article, so please be patient. Thank you, Yosemiter (talk) 01:35, 26 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Other relevant guidelines are WP:COMMONNAME. We use the most often cited name as the article title, not the WP:OFFICIALNAME. Thank you, Yosemiter (talk) 01:35, 26 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

In regards to your question here (also, please sign comments on talk pages with ~~~~), drafts should not be linked to the mainspace at all, and should not be published until they are shown to meet the WP:General Notability Guideline and conform with WP:Manual of Style. As stated above, the article needs more independent reliable sources (news articles from multiple sources/papers, preferably from more than just the local news). In regards to formatting, take a look at other junior hockey team pages like Southern Oregon Spartans or Coquitlam Express for decent examples (although most junior teams could use better references).
