Don't delete every unreferenced material edit

You'd better simply put a [citation needed] template instead of deleting unreferenced materials. After a while, when the problem is not fixed and if the material is challenging, you may remove it! Mhhossein (talk) 04:17, 26 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

The Fourteen Infallibles edit

Thank you for your message. Yes, I have finished copy-editing the beginning of the article up to the family tree. I looked at the table some time ago and made a few copy-edits and unless it has changed since then, I have finished with that as well. But I will look at it again to check for the language. :) I am sorry so much of our hard work in those questions and answers was swept aside, but that it is all part of editing! :( ~ P-123 (talk) 14:45, 15 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Ismah edit

Hello. Regarding [1], what does it mean: "three principles of ontological guidance, so error by Allah in existence is meaningless"?--Anders Feder (talk) 05:50, 25 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Anders Feder, Hello, with my great thanks for ur copy-editing, do u think every thing that u do not understand is wrong and should be deleted, u can add [ambiguous] and it will be clarified. Again thanks.Salman mahdi (talk) 06:14, 25 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Salman mahdi:Yes, I do, since patent nonsense should be removed. I have requested clarification here, and since it wasn't provided I will undo your revert in the article.--Anders Feder (talk) 06:40, 25 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Anders Feder: Please be patient, the sentence u deleted means that when God desires to guide the people to the right path or belief, He does not err in His will as He has enough knowledge and power; so, to guide the people, there should not be any thing wrong with getting and understanding the revelation and propagating it by the prophet because He has desired so. This is called ontological guidance.--Salman mahdi (talk) 13:26, 25 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Walayah edit

Sorry but I don't really know anything about it to be able to add material. I did notice though that Walayah and Walayah (Twelver doctrine) were both missing the introductory section. I have restored that as without it the article makes no sense to the non-Islamic reader and they are the people the article is written for. I'm rather curious as to why the two articles are the same? Imamate (Twelver doctrine) edit

I am having trouble understanding some of this article because I am struggling to understand the basic concepts of Imamah and Imamate. The wiki article on Imamah (Shia doctrine) is clear, but the wiki article on Imamate is not, and the link between the two concepts is confusing. I cannot copy-edit any more of the article until I am clear on these things, I'm afraid. ~ P-123 (talk) 10:07, 23 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

My lack of knowledge about many basic concepts in Islamic theology is proving an unsurmountable obstacle to my copy-editing this article properly. I can only copy-edit into good English if I understand what I am reading. I have only reached the beginning of section 2, and there have already been several long lists of questions just to understand what I am reading, the answers to which I am afraid I cannot always understand. The combination of the language barrier - I cannot understand the English in many sentences in the article - and my lack of knowledge of the subject matter is making me wonder if I am the right person to copy-edit this article. If you can find someone who understands the subject matter to rewrite some passages, I would be willing to look over them to make sure they are in good English. At the moment I am having to question every other sentence because I do not understand it, which I think is wasting both your time and mine. I am really sorry about this but I am trying to be practical here. ~ P-123 (talk) 10:33, 23 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

@P-123: Thank u, but let me consider is there any other way or not?Salman mahdi (talk) 12:08, 23 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

"The prophet", etc. edit

As-salamu alaykum. You consistently write "the prophet" when referring to Muhammad in articles. Per WP:SAWW, please stop doing that and just write "Muhammad".--Anders Feder (talk) 18:01, 14 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
