Giant panda revert

Greetings, Rusted. Kindly help me learn. Why is Le Le, a giant panda listed among other giant pandas on Wikipedia, not notable, but a recent groundhog is notable? What makes one animal notable and another not? Serious questions. Is it because the giant panda doesn't have its own page and is listed with others of its own kind? Hi, Rusted. I appreciate you trying to shore up categories, but if the article text contain the underlying information in its body, Infobox, lede, etc. as with Mark Waid, Jim Valentino, etc., then adding categories to that effect violates policies on sourcing (WP:V/WP:CS/WP:NOR, et al.).
