Perfect is an upcoming biographical film directed by Olivia Wilde.

Perfect depicts the Olympic gold medal win by gymnast Kerri Strug, who performed on a badly injured ankle.

The film was announced in February 2020, with Olivia Wilde hired to direct. A bidding war for the distribution rights occurred between A24, Paramount Pictures, Searchlight Pictures, Warner Bros. Pictures and HBO Max.[1][2] In March, Searchlight acquired worldwide rights to the film for $15 million.[3] In April 2021, Thomasin McKenzie was cast to portray Strug.[4] Mckenna Grace would join the cast in August.[5]
Filming was expected to begin in 2022, with production occurring in Arizona.[6] In an August 2022 interview, Wilde stated she had decided to delay the start of production for personal reasons.[7]
