Proposed deletion of Willy Monfret edit

The article Willy Monfret has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. GLOWINTHEDARK edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Wikipedia. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Helpsome (talk) 17:47, 29 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

I'm so sorry! Thank you. I've already adjusted the article a few times, how do I know it's good? Because the maintenance template remains. I've adjusted the article GLOWINTHEDARK a few times and have paid really close attention to the feedback but the maintenance template remains on the page. Does this mean the page is still not good? Sure there has to be a few things that are okay now since the changes I've made? What can I do? Really want this page to be good but I'm a bit stuck now.
Also the page of Willy Monfret might not meet the lay out guidelines of Wikipedia, I've adjusted this and read the guidelines but it still isn't right according to the maintenance template. Can someone please tell me what exactly needs to be improved here?Rosaenv (talk) 12:13, 30 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
Reply to {{help me}} request: I've made some changes to the maintenance tags on both articles to reflect the edits you have done. In future if you feel you have corrected the error, you may remove the tags yourself per this policy. Both subjects still fail Wikipedia notability guidelines because the articles have no references which assert that the subjects are important in an encyclopedic sense. Please read the notability guidelines and find sources which will allow those tags to be removed. —    Bill W.    (Talk)  (Contrib)  — 14:58, 30 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Edited GLOWINTHEDARK edit

I have edited GLOWINTHEDARK and removed the following maintenance tags:

I've added multiple references from different kinds of sources. Also I've checked the wikipedia notability guidelines and believe that the sources I've added are reliable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rosaenv (talkcontribs) 12:23, 31 January 2014‎

I have put the {{notability}} tag back on the article, and I have changed the {{resume}} to the correct maintenance tag {{like resume}}. Please post any more discussion about these issues on the article talk page here: Talk:GLOWINTHEDARK, and not on your personal user page. Thanks. —    Bill W.    (Talk)  (Contrib)  — 15:03, 31 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Willy Monfret edit

The article Willy Monfret has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

There is no indication that this person meets Wikipedia notability guidelines for musicians. Authors should read the guidelines and provide evidence that this person is notable by Wikipedia standards.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —    Bill W.    (Talk)  (Contrib)  — 12:58, 1 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

  • As part of Wikipedia:Article Rescue Squadron, I have visited the page you created on Willy Monfret and made some needed improvements. I have also added a lengthy support note on the discussion for deletion page. Hope the article does get through with more improvements. Many thanks for introducing this individual to the Wikipedia pages. Frankly a French language page is more needed as it will create understandably more interest. werldwayd (talk) 00:20, 21 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Monfret edit

I have a copy of the article at User:Sportfan5000/Monfret that can be added to with more sources and re-introduced later on, you can also use it for a French wiki, or wherever else makes sense. Sportfan5000 (talk) 17:17, 2 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thank you so much! Hope this helps although I'm not sure what more I can do. Also thank you User:Werldwayd for your help! User:Rosaenv

Deleted Page edit

Recently the Willy Monfret wiki has been deleted. I would like to know what to do so I can re-introduce the improved article.

Since it was deleted after a discussion, you would need to find additional in-depth independent coverage /about him/ not brought up in the discussion which shows that he meets the inclusion guidelines, then see Wikipedia:Requests for undeletion. Dru of Id (talk) 15:06, 2 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
