Flemish

edit

Hi, I'm not familiar with René Magritte, but there is Flemish (linguistics), not exactly a language but close. Pro bug catcher (talkcontribs). 11:52, 4 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ok, thanks for the info. I knew about fr:Flamand (dialecte) and thought you didn't, I had no bad intentions; Now I know you actually know a lot more about the subject than me. Pro bug catcher (talkcontribs). 17:22, 4 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Cricket history

edit

I suggest we discuss this at WT:CRIC. Leave it with me and I'll set something up but I'm afraid I must log off for now. Regards. ---BlackJack | talk page 08:20, 3 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

What the hell are you doing?

edit

What is this edit supposed to be accomplishing, and why in hell did you call my edit vandalism? Who then was a gentleman? (talk) 19:40, 9 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

My niece grew up in Sterrebeek, and she asked me to change the language from Dutch to Flemish. Who then was a gentleman? (talk) 20:32, 10 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please explain why you keep reverting me. So far, you have not. Who then was a gentleman? (talk) 01:57, 11 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Flemish

edit

Please do not undo other people's edits repeatedly, as you are doing in Flemish, or you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. The three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the 3RR. The discussion concerning the article move is still under discussion. Do not make substantial edits until that process is complete. --Labattblueboy (talk) 15:35, 11 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

The discussion is about the title, not about what I wrote. He reverted me without explaining why, go over to him instead. --Roofbird (talk) 15:39, 11 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
I rollbacked your edits and inserted the warning becase there is a debate concerning the move taking place and it appears you are engaging in changes that appear contrary to the will of the majority of editors involved in the article. Making such edits are not appropriate while the move discussion is taking place. Your latest edits were undone because they did not follow the format layed out in WP:Lead. Please make an effort to work cooperatively with the other editors.--Labattblueboy (talk) 16:57, 11 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
This is just incredible. Who do you think you are, and what do you think you know this topic. This is just so unfair. Simply ridiculous. Oh my God. --Roofbird (talk) 17:29, 11 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
"Please make an effort to work cooperatively with the other editors." As far as I can see, I'm the only one editing the article. Some tend to revert without explaining, I revert them and ask for a reason, and I'm not being cooperative? The world turned around. --Roofbird (talk) 17:39, 11 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

This user seems to be on a crusade to remove all references to Flemish and change them all to Dutch. SPA, people? Who then was a gentleman? (talk) 21:33, 11 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Brussels naming conventions

edit

It seems we've almost reached a consensus at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Belgium/Brussels_naming_conventions. Please comment on the proposal for double names and in the poll on which name should be first in the lead and infobox when there is no English name. ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
