Notability in general for films

Hey, I'll warn you: I'm probably going to nominate a lot of your articles for deletion or redirect them. The problem is that I'm having trouble finding sources to show that all of Weathers' films merit their own articles. Notability is not inherited by the films being directed by him and they will have to have coverage in sources such as news articles and reviews to really show notability. Primary sources, merchant sources, and routine database listings can't give notability. Don't take any of this personally- it's just that I'm having trouble showing that the films pass notability guidelines. I'll try to see if I can find notability enough for Weathers to have an article, but I don't think he'll be able to have separate articles for all of his films. • I've thought about it and the fact is, you've been here since 2009. During that time your edits have been solely centered around Weathers. I'd tried to talk to you in the past about sourcing and you've been given some sign that using self-published and merchant sources was unacceptable. However despite that, you continue to make extremely promotional articles for Weathers and I find it hard to believe that you're not Weathers or someone he's asked to edit Wikipedia for him. There's a possibility that you may be unblocked, but I would like to make the unblocking requirement be that you cannot edit anything directly relating to Weathers. I don't think that you can make neutral edits about him and I don't think that you can really judge what is or isn't a reliable source when it comes to him. This means that you cannot edit his article nor can you create articles about his films or anything else that he may work on. Wikipedia is not a promotional platform. Not a notable film, from a director that does not deserve a BLP. Lots of redlinks to the people and businesses involved.
