Online Mentor edit
Hi there Rifelpet! I've just jumped in and become your online mentor, so hello! I'm not sure how everyone else is doing the mentoring, but I'd say it's a fairly individual matter anyway, so we should do it how we like. Therefore, I was wondering if you could tell me what you'd expect from a mentor? I'm happy to provide as much or as little support as you need, you are always welcome to ask me questions or for a third opinion (There's no such thing as a stupid question - if you are unsure, ask!) and I'll keep a regular eye on your contributions in case I pick up any areas where I think you could do with a little help.
- Just as an addendum, I see you are very new to wikipedia, so I thought I'd give you a hand on sending me messages. You have a few options
- You can leave a message on this page. I will be watching it and will reply within 24 hours.
- You can click on my signature where it says Worm. This will take you directly to my talk page, where you can edit a section to leave me a message. Besides email, this will be the fastest way to contact me, as the bright orange bar I get (you might have noticed it, for this message) will alert me. (During UK office hours, it might even be faster than email!)
- You can start a new section on my talk page, either directly from my talk page or using this link
- You can email me using this link
Hello edit
Hi Rifelpet, just thought I'd drop in and to let you know I'm about. Had a look at your recent edits and you're doing a good job, keep it up! Let me know if there's anything you need or anything confusing you. WormTT 10:47, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
Update for Tomorrow's Lab edit
Hey Peter, I've done a little research and created a list of some more potential sources on my user page sandbox. Also, I did some rearranging of the tying page. I think one of the things we can talk to Obar about is just improving that page in general, maybe adding more examples, etc. Just wanted to let you know what I've been up to. See you tomorrow :) Dsayles08 (talk) 18:35, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
