Hello. I am a summer internship employee here. I do not get paid, and nothing is used for any commerical interest. I am simply trying to put my affiliated company CEO on the wikipedia archives, just like any other technology company in the world. All of my text, and pictures, are simply description of the person on wikipedia. I don't understand why putting description of a person, especially when this person is a great scientist that has significant benefits to the human society(advancements made in the semiconductor industry that brings tremendous human technological growth) is not allowed. @Ricatayakahusta: You need to understand that this is an encyclopedia, not a free listing service for posting lengthy résumés/CVs. If you don't understand that, follow the link to our policies and guidelines in Sumanuil's msg above for more information. – Athaenara 10:55, 8 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hi. I understand now. There are significant problems in how I approached wikipedia in the first place then. I will be more careful in my future publishings and edits. Is it possible to unban me and I will fix my problems? Sincerely, Ricatayakahusta (talk) 01:02, 9 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Dear Cunard and Girth Summit, and fellow administrators and volunteer admins of Wikipedia, I am Ricatayakahusta, Madeinibsh, and Koreafishnumberone, and possibly all of the edits related to Etron Technology, Inc. from this IP address. I resemble and represent all forms of editing regarding anything about this company, and I have a few things I want to say. I would like to clarify certain things that I might have lied about before, or I have explained vaguely and poorly that led to misconceptions and miscommunications, that led to the banning of multiple accounts, a case in sock-puppeting, and the banning of my IP address. I would also like to make a formal apology to the entire wikipedia admin and community base for causing all the trouble over the past month. In the following message, I will make everything clearly, and I can provide documentation of sorts of my best to prove my trustworthy and honesty from now on. 1. I resemble users of userid such as Ricatayakahusta, Madeinibsh, and Koreafishnumberone. I also resemble most/if not all, edits made and pages created to Wikipedia, and files and pictures uploaded to wikimedia commons from this IP that I am sending this message from. 2. My identity: I am a college/phd student from Purdue University in the United States. I study electrical and computer engineering, which led me to be interested in certain IC design companies and scientists/engineers. I also grew up in Hisnchu, Taiwan, which made me fairly capable of having decent knowledge about certain companies in the science park, as well as about the science park as a whole. 3. My status: I work as an summer intern from June 1st to July 31th at Etron Technology, Inc., under the corporate communications department. I also volunteered to do proofreading and translating at the local visitors center in the science park. Everything I do is completely unpaid. I volunteered myself to work here, for both experience and to help people. 4. My edits: I resemble the main creators and editors of the following listed wikipedia pages that may still exist or may have been deleted: Etron Technology, Inc./eEver Technology, Inc./eYs3D Microelectronics Corp./Nicky (Chau-Chun) Lu as well as related wikipedia pages in Chinese, such as 鈺創科技/鈺群科技/鈺立科技/盧超群. I take responsibility for all edits and creations that have been done relating to such topics. My intentions of creating, editing, and revising such pages: I originally intended to do a project in archiving all of the science park companies in the Hsinchu Science park, as this will give me a better understanding of the semiconductor industry in Taiwan, which will aid me in my future career goals in life. By doing so, will not only help fellow internet users in navigating information about companies and the science park in Taiwan, and will furthermore help people of the world learn about the importance of Taiwan in the tech industry, playing a crucial role in supplying chips for electronics of the world. Since I had a friend's friend that is working in this company, I realized it is better for me to start from this company- Etron Technology, Inc., as then I can get into the company's archived histories, and it would be a bit faster for me to compare and verify the information from multiple sources over the internet. What I have done over the past month: Over the past month, I had been incompetent in conducting somewhat "disruptive editing." I believe my main problem was not declaring who I was, what my status is (my intern status), which led to further problems such as COI and sockpuppeting, which are absolutely not allowed on Wikipedia, as wikipedia promotes an unbiased and equal website archive. I apologize for all the disruptive editing, and miscommunication on my part. I've noticed many of my previous edits have been marked by COI, paragraphs and information structured like commercials or business coverages, or attempts to remove negative information about the company- which all ultimately led to the banning of the accounts I have created, as well as two IP addresses I have used to create accounts and edit on. I apologize for all the trouble and disruption I have caused. My intentions: I have absolutely no intentions in commercializing or posting biased information about anything, as no one pays me anything (except for me listing this as an experience on my resume). I'm the one giving back to the science park. Plus, they don't even fund my transportation or food fees. I have no reason to be biased or commercialize anything. I am simply archiving what I've found on the internet. If I had included anything that is considered as biased or business coverage related in the past, I apologize for everything. If I am given another chance, I will watch out for these problems much, much more carefully. My problems: I have not respected wikipedia's regulations on stating my origins and my status, COI, and sockpuppeting. I admit to everything, and I am willing to make immediate and effective change, to abide by wikipedia's rules, and to listen closely to the admins' suggestions and changes. My plans for the future, if I can get unbanned and unblocked: I will review the sources I use in a stricter manner. I will avoid any biased sentence structures, diction, and information from unreliable sources. I will provided detailed description on what my edits were about. I will cite as much as possible to make everything credible. I will put unfinished pages in my own draft, and remember to not publish them directly in articles. If so, I will continue to make edits on the pages, but this time, much more carefully and in a much more detailed manner. I will keep everything transparent, clear, and unbiased. I will make immediate changes if suggested. The immediate actions I will do if I am unbanned: I will immediately delete all other sockpuppet accounts aside from single one. I will strictly avoid creating and abusing multiple accounts in the future. I will make revisions to all edits I have made, and add appropriate citations and edit descriptions to every single edit I have made. I will try my best to make wikipedia a better place for archives. I will update my userpage to list out my origins and my status immediately, as transparently and as clearly as possible. Dear admins of wikipedia. I really hope you all can accept to unblock me. If I did not do so in my listed above things I plan on doing, you all can ban me again. I promise I will follow all wikipedias' regulations this time. Thankyou for looking through such a long message! Sincerely. 220.130.44.51 Ricatayakahusta (talk) 15:35, 4 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Too long and rambling. Impossible to make sense of. Does not address reasons for block in a concise, succinct manner. Sock puppetry destroys the Community's trust, so anything you write is considered dubious anyway. Your best bet would be to not edit with any account. And to not edit without logging in, as someone claiming to be you did on my talk. Go six months without editing, and then request unblocking in a clear concise manner that describes what you did to merit blocking, what you would do instead, and what constructive edits you would make. Deepfriedokra (talk) 14:34, 25 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
