Hail to the Thief edit

Hi! Thanks for volunteering to review the HTTT page for a good article status. Just thought I'd let you know that the article was recently peer reviewed, but that I (the primary author) haven't had time to implement the changes yet. I'm hoping to do it this weekend. If you wait until then, the article will hopefully be improved. But it's up to you - any review right now is totally appreciated. Thanks. Popcornduff (talk) 00:09, 14 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the feedback, dude. I'll get onto it as soon as I get time in the next week. Popcornduff (talk) 23:47, 14 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
I see what you're saying about moving all the production anecdotes to the production section - that seems obvious and makes sense. But do you think it's really best to separate the lyrical content from the musical content, as opposed to just talking about the songs as whole units? For me, when describing a song, it makes sense to describe it as a whole, music AND lyrics. But I'm open to persuasion here, if you can convince me!
The other obstacle for me is how to describe the music without breaking the no-original-research rule. I know these songs intimately and have a musical background so I can describe them (and the album's music generally) in accurate detail, but that won't cut it: no original research. I'll have to pull in observations from music journals (which sometimes include factual inaccuracies, like mis-identified time signatures). Do you have any advice here? Roll Call August 2014 edit

With the fifth album just weeks away and loads of information is being released concerning the album, singles, tours etc. I would like as many people as possible to join in to help get some more of Slipknot's articles in the Good Article section and even help push the main page as a featured article. Just so the Project can keep an updated list of people who continue to contribute to the Project a Roll Call will happen from time to time. It is understood that over time, users may have lost interest in the Project or Wikipedia all together; if you have, it's no big deal. If you would like to keep contributing to the project please sign the list. If you do not add your name to the list by September 25, you will become an "Inactive member", this will bar you from voting in the AoF. Remember, if you ever want to join the project again, you are always welcome!!! If you are interested in continuing helping sign your name here Kevon100 Talk! Mail 20:22, 25 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
