Thank you for your nice comments! First of all let me apologize for the spelling errors I made. English isn't my first language and I was at work when I wrote it. Also sorry about the geographical confusion. I'll be sure to remember that distinction between East Asia and South-East Asia as it sounds quite important. The countries you mention definately have moved up. China is in a decisive phase right now but from what I have heard wages have already gone up in some sectors. My knowledge of the Phillipino economy may be outdated too but as far as I know it is still mostly based on low-efficiency sectors, providing cheap labour to companies who no longer find it profitable to produce in their own country. What I think is important, besides the more down to earth things like infrastructure, education for everyone and decent health care access for all, is that the government shows the outside world that it can maintain an efficient public sector with minimal corruption and provide stability and peace. Those are the main parameters that investors look at when they decide if they want to scale up their investments or make their first investment. MartinDK 19:21, 2 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Don't worry about it. I enjoyed your posts and messages. I am also guilty as charged when it comes to politicking a talk page, and I agree with you that a basic understanding of economics do not hurt anyone. --Chicbicyclist 06:14, 3 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Oh yeah, how rude of me, I forgot to sign off. Cheers!--Chicbicyclist 06:17, 3 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Talk page comments edit

Hi, I noticed your edits to Talk:Miriam Defensor Santiago in which you used a <blockquote> tag to indent your replies. Balancing all of those blockquote tags can be difficult and interfer with the formatting of the page. Common practice is to use a colon (':') for every level of indent instead, which does not need to be closed. See Help:Talk page for more information. Thanks! -Anþony (talk) 10:12, 24 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please excuse me, it's clear to me now that the blockquotes are the doings of an anonymous editor, not you. Please ignore the previous message. -Anþony (talk) 10:17, 24 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
