No, no, no, that’s not how it works

edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

You've shown me how the block works and for your information, I am not a sockpuppet of any blocked users.

Oh no, I can't seem to find the button. I'm sure another admin who isn't too busy using bad language can fix it, though. Ian.thomson (talk)
Oh, there were instructions in the block template you removed. In particular, you need to copy the following form (as it appears on your talk page) and fill it out in a new post: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

If you post a proper unblock request, as describned above and ping me, I will give it serious consideration. I would advise you to read Wikipedia:Guide to appealing blocks first. DES (talk)DESiegel Contribs 15:28, 7 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I am not a sockpuppet for a start, and I am an officer of the law. if somebody was drink driving, I would pull the drunk person over and ask them if they had alcohol with them or anything like that. I am actually here to build the encyclopedia but I understand what I have been blocked for, and I will not do it again. I promise to make productive contributions instead, but the block is not necessary anymore.

Decline reason:

Submitting this as an article, there's no way you're not trolling us. And no way are you a police officer. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 09:01, 8 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

{unblock|reason=As you can see, I have been blocked by Ian.thomson but he put a reason saying 'I dunno' in it, which is rubbish. He's obviously just blocking me indefinitely for no reason.}} {{ping|Materialscientist}
