Md. Shariful Islam moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Md. Shariful Islam, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello RawnakS. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Md. Shariful Islam, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:RawnakS. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=RawnakS|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 07:43, 17 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Dear TheBirdShedTears, I am a new user so I don't know the proper way to reply. So I am writing here instead. I am not paid to edit this page. I am just a volunteer. And forgive me if I have done anything wrong due to the fact that I am still learning how things work around here. Thank you for your cooperation-RawnakS

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Robert McClenon was: This submission is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: This draft is a duplicate of Draft:Muhammad Shariful Islam. Both of these drafts have been moved into article space without review and have been moved back into draft space. Creating both of these drafts simultaneously for the same person is clearly an attempt to game the system.

Work on only one draft, the other one. If any more attempts are made to game the system, all of the drafts may be nominated for deletion, and a topic-ban may be requested.

Does the author of this draft have any sort of financial or other connection with the subject of this draft? Please read the conflict of interest policy and the paid editing policy and make any required declarations.

You may ask for advice about conflict of interest at the Teahouse.

If this draft is resubmitted without addressing the question about conflict of interest, it may be Rejected or nominated for deletion.

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. The creation of multiple versions of the same draft, and simply moving them to article space is disruptive editing. This warning is the first stage of a multi-level warning process. The ultimate outcome is your losing editing privileges if you continue down this path Fiddle Faddle 09:51, 17 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Md. Shariful Islam, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 10:14, 17 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

TheBirdsShedTears, I think they misunderstand that the tag was on the redirect page, rather than the article itself, which has been returned to Draft space. They need to engage with other editors, something they are failing to do Fiddle Faddle 10:17, 17 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Md. Shariful Islam. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Hello, RawnakS. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Md. Shariful Islam".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
